I have a feeling I'll enjoy all of them quite a lot, but enchanting will be the most fun. I can't think of many things more epic than building my own magical weapon, naming it perhaps, and dominating dragons, monsters, and peoples' throats with them.
My first character will major in smithing and enchanting. I'm really looking forward to smithing, with enchanting being a close second. Alchemy just never has been my thing - but I do usually get around to using it.
i Love working with enchantments and exploring millions of enchantment posibillities and capabilities especially adding them to wepons , and rings, armor also .. and well robes and pants .. hell it goes on forever ... i love enchanting and working with it i need alot of posibilities not just a few variables
It depends on the character. For a barbarian that disdains magic but has melee skills, Smithing, for a necromancer who uses staves, Enchanting, for an assassin who wants one-hit kills, Alchemy.
Enchanting, since I'll be playing a (almost pure) mage and I'm really excited by the changes. Apparently you learn how to apply new effects by "disenchanting" magic items.
My dude will be a rugged Nordsman, living of what the land and the mountains provide, and what he can shape into something useful using his hands and some basic tools. No magic here.
Alchemy, definitely. It fits with almost every character style I'd ever want to roleplay.
I would normally go with Alchemy, but I haven't heard to much about any new or interesting potions. Excellent way to make quick money in most TES games though.
I'll be mainly doing all three with sneak being my 4th main skill. All other skills will be in support, but I can easily see these 4 going up VERY quickly for me as long as I have access to materials.
