Yes...ish. Alduin is Old One, the first product of time: destruction.

Alduin is an aspect of the schizophrenic dragon god of time. His other aspects are Akatosh and Auri-El l, but he doesn't realize it.

What is the name of this god of time, once his three aspects (Akatosh, Alduin and Auri-El) are re-united?

And, what is the nature of these three aspects? If Alduin = destruction, what are Akatosh and Auri-El?

I say AKHAT

Also, Akatosh is Preservation; Auri El, Transcendence.

Also Also, Don't forget Alkosh. He represents Caprice.

poetically? I guess if alduin is the aging destruction of time,
Auri-El is the glorious past
and Akatosh is the enduring future

I'm not actually happy with that Auriel line. Maybe's more like the frozen instant. The yesteryear. I think the High Elves symbolize "the good old years" a bit too much.

Auri El, transcendence.
I like that one
the elves always wanna get out, or rather get back to what they were

Akatosh is the soul of Anu - the more physical representation of Stasis = Time. He has many faces. The face of Destruction = Alduin, The Face of change = Auri-El (I assume that, because it was Auri-El that defeated Shor/Lorkhan and brought his reign to an end) and stasis of Time = Akatosh. Ofcourse there is that thing with Lorkhan/Akatosh dichotomy, as space and time are intertwined together. It's complicated.

Mmm, I really need to know more.

How many devs worked on this? ;)
