please help!!! my elder scrolls level called alduins bane doesn't work...

i can get past the reading of the scroll but i can not defeat Alduin no matter what weapon i use and how i use it... his health bar does not decrease and it doesn't seem to make an impact on him in any shape or form.......

please help !!!!!!!

This can happen sometimes, if you exit dialogue with Alduin prematurely after returning from the vision in the Time Wound, or if you die during the fight with Alduin and reload the game.

Exiting Skyrim to the dashboard and reloading the game has fixed this for me in the past, although I cannot guarantee it will work for you.

Also, from the UESP:

• Saving immediately before combat starts, then fast-traveling away and returning, may fix this.
