Hi all.
I'm about to begin a small experiment with Skyrim for my channel where it is important to really build up an immersive and comprehensive background story for my character, and for that I need a little insight from someone who knows the storyline from Skyrim a little better than me.
So basically I want my character to be from the very south of Skyrim, perhaps even the northern part of Cyrendill, (which will explain why he isn't familiar with any of the people, places or anything else in Skyrim)
As far as I can remember Cyrendill is the home of the Empire, which falls in nicely with my character being of the imperial race.
I am using the Alternative Start mod, so I won't go through the vanilla start, but I'm still thinking that he could have crossed the border illegally, just without being caught.
SPOILER ALERT!!! (to the three people in the world who hasn't finished the game yet)
My biggest question is regarding Alduin and his travel through time. When he is banished to the time in Skyrim, is destroying Helgen the very first thing he does or could there have been time for him to retreat for a time to find out what had happened?
I want the story to be that he is banished to another time... Arrives in Skyrim and then flies south, and hides in a cave or something for a time (a day, a few days or maybe a week).
Then at some point, on his way south he destroys my character's home and kills his family, giving my character a burning desire to follow Alduin to Skyrim and kill him. The story will begin right after Helgen is destroyed by my character arriving just to see Alduin fly away from Helgen and dissapearing in the distance.
Would this go against any of the lore from before the game, during the game or after the game?
Thanks.
