Alessia and Morihaus

Post » Sat Nov 13, 2010 11:39 am

Okay, not really sure how to phrase this question but umm... Its said somewhere that Alessia and Morihaus 'mated'. This reminds me of a Greek/ Roman ledgend where Zeus/Jupiter transformed himself into a bull, where he courted a young girl, who then gavebirth to the Minotaur.

Could the same situatuion be correct in the case of Alessia and Morihaus?

What situation? They mated, so that's pretty clear. If you mean pregnancy, yes, that too. The Tamriel Timeline given to the Imperial Library makes mention of Belharza the Man-Bull as the second emperor of Cyrodiil, and discussed here as the child of that union, and likely a minotaur-like creature.

But whether he was the father of minotaurs, who look like a savage and stupid lot, is not known.

That would explain where Cyrodiil's Minotaurs came from...... :ooo:

Everyone seems to skirt around this part of TES history, though Paws once concisely reminded me that I have missed the epic threads about it.

I don't mean to hijack the thread regardless, but mated?

Morihaus was a Man-Bull? Or a Bull-Man? Are we talking Minotaur... What, with human on the top or as the bottom?

And Alessia is a human. Yes, Vehk was a player, but he is a God. Does she belong to the Fantastic Four, by any chance?

Oh, and for record, I still don't understand the "Mankar-Ruma" preborn mind[censored] business yet, either.

Morihaus was a Bull. totally. he could turn into a dude, but he didnt when they did it. :spotted owl:

i highly doubt that the minotaurs of Cyrodiil are their creations, they are far to simple minded to have been born of this union. my personal theory is that the chicks of old cyrod were jelous of ales and mor's relationship (and incredibly horny) so they went and skrewed some cattle. this being the age of myth they managed to get pregnant, and being that they werent too smart neither were their offspring.

as to the physical possibility: all it takes is a little practice and a little divinity.

Lady N said it, "Bull!"

And their offspring is the second emperor of Cyrodiil, Belharza the Man-Bull.

Now, I want to know the name MK gave who tried to reenact that union with a life-size bull statue.

I believe Maturin's assertions indeed come from the later extant Morihaus texts.

If I recall correctly, there was some argument and disgust at the Elder Council when Go-Jimyet tried to perform the "First Mating of Alessia" with a life-sized (and fully proportionate) ceramic statue of Kynareth's son in Full Bull form. It is widely assumed that this was the incident that led to the re-depictions of Morihaus that was only partly bull.

Which is, of course, silly, as "The Taking Into, At Topal's Edge" will soon show.

PS. Go-Jimyet is still healing somewhere near Rimmen.

OMG. My only comment is that I refuse to comment further on this topic. ;) We've all been through this before, and it was fun last time, and the time before, but I'm gonna bow outta' this one.

And...how do we know this? It seems that the end result would be the same regardless of the form he was currently taking, as he was still a divine bull.

Because we can wear his armor and he has a statue in the Arena District.

I meant how we can be sure that he was in his bull form when they did it.

I believe that Go-Jimyet's performance is based entirely in truth, but that's the only account I know of their mating.

I've resigned myself to that surreal pillow truth, now.

A statue would be nice though, just to reaffirm what I think I'm thinking....

Strange why is there isn't any proper representation of bulls, or worship of bulls in OB. There'd be Bull Priests, and all sorts of other Bullmonikers.

In conclusion, bestiality is always cool and mythic, huh?

Where do you think the inns of Cyrodiil get their beef?

well, creating a statue of a bull is pretty hard (finding decent reference pictures of Mor like bulls is a pain in the bootie) while creating that statue of human Mor we have is easy. dress a dude in arena armor, move him a little, put some shackles in his hand, done. i could probably make that statue myself -_-

Anyhow, him being a bull just serves to reinforce his divinity, two regular people mating aint all that special.

Heh, I realize people talk about Cyrodiil's animal cults and forced religious dietary laws even less, but that package comes along with the tattoos.

Perhaps if they had fed the artists HBO's Rome rather then Lord of the Rings we could have bought that in an plug-in for only 3.99$! :P

So perhaps his rawhide was metallic.

I can't believe I just defended one of MK's ridiculous statements.

It was probably literally leather since leather armor was virtually the only non-Elven armor worn at the time.
