St. Alessia

I'm pretty sure that whole silver skin thing has thoroughly been retconed. If not, it certainly should be. It doesn't get any tackier than that, folks.

Actually, I just made a thread that has a semi-plausible reason for it. :)

Mostly because retcons annoy the hell out of me.

Presumably. Belharza was named the Man-Bull, so people assume he is a minotaur, but its never really stated. Likewise, he was the 2nd king of Cyrodiil, and it makes sense for him to be the son of Alessia and Morihaus, but he doesn't have to be. They could have had a whole lot more kids who didn't make it into the history books.

It's also possible he was a Nord, since they often have names such as "Ulfgar the Man-Bear" and such titles.

But I think it would be really freaking awesome if he were a minotaur.

She did have six with a demi-god bull, who could talk and fly...and did it in front of everyone too, willingly no less.

Guri Nail-Face. Best name ever.

Lady N, the retcon was the Knhatn flu. At least, that's what removed them from relevancy.

Even more awesome would be if he was a cyborg minotaur.

Well, Pelin-el was the Adabal-a, so yes, I suppose cyborg minotaur indeed.

Hellmouth: It was the power of love, man.

We should keep in mind that the Elder Scrolls' gods are nothing unusual among mythological gods. The Olympian gods impregnated women by taking the form of a bull, a swan, a shower of golden light, and other forms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autochthon_(ancient_Greece)

"In mythology Autochthones are those mortals to have sprung from the soil, rocks and trees . They are rooted and belong to the land eternally. They have neither personal father nor mother (self-born). An Autochthon is not the same with the demigods, offspring of Gaia, gegenes earth-born, although later the terms have been confounded."

Maybe I'm just a softie but I prefer to think Alessia and Morihaus had the whole true love/mutual friendship thing going on. They fought together through some really tough wars and had plenty of time to bond. Granted, the logistics of it all may seem repulsive to our sensibilities, but this is a universe where people make whoopie with mounds of dirt so that flies out the window.

Yeah, I have to agree with HGJ. I always saw their relationship as one of love, not weird divine bestiality.

One does not preclude the other. I'm 99.9% certain MK confirmed that they did have a sixual relationship.

True. I forget which book it was in, but MK wrote of Pelinal saying to Morihaus that "We are Ada, Mor," going on to remind Morihaus that although the latter had fallen in love, he should remember he was a god involved with a mortal.

Edit: It's in "The Song of Pelinal" --

Never did Pelinal counsel Morihaus in time of war, for the man-bull fought magnificently, and led men well, and never resorted to Madness, but the Whitestrake did warn against the growing love with Perrif. "We are ada, Mor, and change things through love. We must take care lest we beget more monsters on this earth. If you do not desist, she will take to you, and you will transform all Cyrod if you do this." And to this the bull became shy, for he was a bull, and he felt his form too ugly for the Parvania at all times, especially when she disrobed for him. He snorted, though, and shook his nose-hoop into the light of the Secunda moon and said, "She is like this shine on my nose-hoop here: an accident sometimes, but whenever I move my head at night, she is there. And so you know what you ask is impossible."

This is the exact quote I would use to argue in favor of Morihaus fathering the Minotaurs and other monsters.
