Jesus, is anyone else getting a bunch of lag during combat? Seems like no matter what I do, it still lags.

I'm playing with maxed settings and I'm on a laptop. I guess performance varies.

EDIT: I can't wait till someone releases a first-person mod. I mean, we know it's possible since on the 2nd (or was it 3rd? or 4th?) level you can take control of a turret and fire it in first person.

I think slow-mo is part of the game. I just recently unlocked Adrenaline and it basically just makes everything slower (including you and your team).

I'm not talking about slow-mo, I'm talking about crappy performance. Maybe I need to reboot my computer.

Anybody want to play tomorrow around 8:00 pm EST?

It's a tad far ahead, but I won't be online at all tomorrow until then.

Add me on steam. Glad to play with any of you.

If you have a mic, please use it lol.

I'll play also.

Not sure about Allstar though. You can't trust him with the flamethrower.

Someone was also very immature with the highlighter feature on the map. :P

Fun game though - I'll try and arrange another one tomorrow. Just put your name down and I'll see what we can come up with.

Ah that was me going lol. I lol'ed if it wasn't obvious. Hahahahah! Soon as we got to the second group... they were making questionable decisions. Also the hacking thing has me so confused and I got all of us killed with it. :( I didn't realize I had to juggle the numbers to make them all align. Although I like that aspect of hacking. Very good.

At least I don't abandon half the team by welding shut a door before we can go through!

Anyway, I'm up for a game then.

It's a fun game. Pretty challenging at times. Anytime I'm on hit me up. Might get back on there in an hour or two.

Had a pretty intense round with some of forumites.

In short, we died a lot, but it was lots of fun.

Had a nice, long game with Gamgee, Snowkel, and Expresate.

Shame we weren't able to pass a certain part.

Died a lot? We kicked [censored] ass from level one to six then petered out there. I would say we did a hell of a lot more killing and ass kicking than dieing. Just that last level.

Does anyone else think the minigun svcks? By the time you start it up, almost everything is dead or already swarming you.

Autogun>Minigun.

I'm downloading it now. Getting a fairly decent rate too. Around 800KB/S, not bad considering the major server issues they had when portal was free. Obviously this isn't the same scale but still...

Anyway i'll probably give it a small test run tonight and be able to give it a decent go (hopefully with some of you guys) tomorrow.
