All My Exes Live In Riften

Post » Mon Oct 03, 2011 2:11 pm

We know that we can get married, but what about divorce? Does the woman get half of our loot in the settlement? Can we officially divorce, or do we have to beat her to death to get rid of her? I don't think ending relationships has been explained yet, but if you have official info share!

What do you want to see related to divorce in Skyrim? Discuss! :flamethrower:

Here is the thread title reference if you didn't know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_DVyJh0ngo

Oh god, I can just see the FOX news special on the new video game that promotes killing your wife so you don't have to give her anything during a divorce...

they did confirm you need a perk to combine spells so....warriors are just gona have to find another way to divorce their wifes.... but im sure they'll find a way.

Now that I think about it, that principle holds true in real life as well.
Except the fact that if you kill her would get a 'price on your head.'

You could still flee to another 'Hold' or Country to run away from the people that want to imprison you. :flame:

Not unless you kill her in a subtle way while she sleeps. :sb:

Oh is that how it works...?

...would explain the recent rise in divorce claims....

would be nice to be able to divorce, and negotiate a settlement. because killing wives is bad. and RL wife would never sleep in the same room as me again.

Yep, I'm a gamer, testing the limits of what the game lets me do is part of the fun.
