All hell has just broken loose....

This playthrough I've been trying to keep everyone on-side (I know). I'm in the middle of the battle of bunker hill and currently have the brotherhood, railroad and institute fighting each other. To make matters worse I'd hacked Kleo earlier and she decided to turn up. So ive got a cluster**** of fighting going on with Kleo attacking everything in sight. I couldn't get the key to get in, so I climbed a bus to get into the complex. So far I haven't fired a shot, its just piper and myself running around looting everyone.

The whole thing is insane and I'm still part way through. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

yeah it was an intense fight.

I showed up having only warned the Railroad. But somehow the BoS caught wind of this and were there in force. I managed not to blow my cover by not attacking anyone until it was just me and the railroad inside against synths and BoS. I took out the BoS and Synths and reported back to Shaun. Somehow convinced him the whole thing was a cluster f up and not my fault.

Even the BoS seemed to think afterwards that I had no part in the whole thing.

But now the BoS are the enemy... and I'm now having to choose between my friends and my family. RR or my son.

The Battle of Bunker Hill doesn't affect your standings with either group at all, at least it didn't for me. But I barely killed anyone at all. And those I killed, where already dying. From my fights against Coursers later on (while being friendly with Institute and doing missions for PAM at the Railroad), I noticed that attacking Coursers and Synths don't immediately make them hostile towards you. You need to deal a certain amount of damage.

I reached that battle friendly to all factions involved. I didn't warn the BoS, but they showed up as well. I did warn my buddies in the RR. I just walked through the entire thing without fighting at all and met up with the synth targets at the end. I told them they were free to go and had to kill one courser. That's the only thing I killed there. I got to clean up a ton of loot afterwards and Shaun was angry that somehow both the RR and BoS were warned. Whoever warned the BoS wasn't me... I guess the BoS has a spy in the RR or just noticed forces massing at the hill and decided to drop in a few loads of free power armor parts for me to equip the Minutemen with... how thoughtful!

I missed all that fun. In my first play through I didn't have a Bunker Hill at all. I killed 'Father' the very first time I met him and then all .. broke out. As soon as I got back the Institute did a mass attack on the MM, how they knew it was the MM that got me into the Institute in the first place I have no idea. then I invaded and nuked them.

I had really only done some of the RR quests and none of the BoS quests. This play through I am going to do all the faction quests but it just seems a bit strange that I am working for everyone.
