OK, like many of you I have had a lot of crashes.

Early on the game was very stable. The key here is "early on".

My first big crash was when I found the beer bottler in the hills. I picked up a gaus gun and the game crashed about every 5 minutes afterwords. The [censored] is I had to load a saved game that was 2 levels lower than my guy was at that point 26 to 24 in order to get past it.

I ran into several other things that seemed to make the game unstable includeing going to the caves in bitter springs. This was at level 29 and I have no desire to replay these levels again. Several of the save game files are also corrupted.

I also ran into the "verify files" thing and always get the one file is screwed up. It never fixes it though.

I did reinstall the game once and got a few hours of playtime out of it before it decided to start crashing again.

I am playing on a amd 6 core with 8 gigs and a gigabyte mb and gtx 460.

Come on guys, we need a good patch.
