You know, every game and its forums that I was playing and reading - all of them are filled with bugs and posts like "i hate this game - I was expecting much of it and MY waiting and dreaming of it is not that I got!!". I can't understand what people are waiting for and what thay want to see and play coz every game is a bad game - WHY? There's no perfect games and perfect developers! Take it the way it is and be patient - developers will certanly make it better!

What alot of people fail to see is Crytek is the developer.....backed by the money (EA) so who do you think rushes games to the store????? I can guarantee it' not the developer. It's the guys floating the loan for the months/years of development. EVERY game that I purchased in 2010 (i play only shooters) had hugely disappointing, bug filled launches. I would go into there forums much like now and see these exact same types of threads, the ones that looked like some ADD 12 year old posted. Guess what? those games have been ironed out and play really well. As for the people that posted the ADD 12 yr old threads......they still look like kids who didn't get the toy they wanted at the store laying on there backs throwing a tantrum in public. In short.......post like your a mature sensible person, there going to support the game, there going to fix the issues, crytek's hand was forced to get the product on the shelf even in the condition it is in. It is the new model in video games.....the days of a perfectly polished game with 1- 512kb patch a month later to clean up the little bugs are gone, it's the new model of business from the guys with the money (EA, Activision) if you can't handle that.......don't buy the game.

@deexteer, correct in that forums are for customers to talk about said product, not to talk like they have shares in crytek nd calling them all the names under the sun though....Any decent person can complain without the insults, buying a game doesn't give ANYONE the right to be abussive...
@vosse , Yes I've played multiplayer and the only problem I had for the first 5 mins was keycode in use which stopped 5 mins later and the only other thing was the time it took to get a game....But I did eventually....Was good as well..
@SynicHEX , Advertising a product, yep well if you've ever watched tv adverts, you know darn well how much they exagerate things, but they don't make me want to buy the things...I brought crysis 2 because I had the original crysis 1 and before that farcry, which was a good game in it's time. I also like any other game made with cryengine....But when I buy a game and it's not quite what I expected, it ends up on my top shelf, were it collects dust for a few months untill I try it again....I don't jump on gaming forums a rage post.....It's a shame their isn't a forum for people who just want to chat and talk about what they like in games, not what every forum you visit have which is rage posts......Any decent person would not act like they do on forums in a shop, you would be kicked out...

Developers will always release plenty of multi platform games on PC. Just because the ROi is so good (the "i" is in lower case for a reason!). Or to put it another way as long as we want to buy them they will sell them. When they stop selling them then you will know that it got so bad we don't want them anymore.

And if we don't want them it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully this happens sooner rather than later and opens the market up for some developers who want to come and be serious about PC games.

Wow dude. Seriously just have a sweeping look over the forums. It doesn't require any effort. But since you're obviously SOO lazy that you can't do that, here's a short, short list of bugs.

-CFX Strobe light flickering rendering the game unplayable
-SLI bloom/lighting flickering, rendering the game annoying
-No graphics options besides 3 presets.
-No AA settings.
-Alien juice you collect from the corpses magically disappears from your inventory.
-"Adjust your TV settings" on a PC game
-People are still having problems logging into their accounts.
-People are still having problems downloading the PreOrder Extras
-People are still having problems with the game not remembering their passcode for multiplayer.
-No Multiplayer security - hackers/aimbotters galore.
-Low res ingame textures.
-Texture stretching bug - textures are stretched into the light source they are being shined on by resulting in massless colored walls of light.
-No DX11 while advertised otherwise
-Patch 1.1 breaks the game for CFX users and enables the flickering.
-SLI exaggerated the motion blur and renders the game nearly unplayable.
-Game will only autosave.
-99% of the console commands have been revoked.
-People in MP find themselves deleveling for no reason or leveling to 50 instantly for no reason.
-There is VRAM or a RAM leak some users have reported resulting in crashes or 50fps down to 4fps in a few minutes of play.
-etc. There are loads more I'm sure I've forgotten.

And most annoyingly, Crytek has been silent on nearly all of these issues.

You obviously haven't been on these forums long/recently. Click on nearly any topic and at least one of these issues will be the main feature. There was no need for me to pointlessly list them all here.

By using your logic then NASCAR '93 has superior graphics than Crysis 1, because I get 10000fps in that game while I get 50fps in Crysis 1.

That means NASCAR '93 can have graphics up to 200x worse than Crysis 1, but because the fps to graphics ratio is SO high, it will still beat out Crysis graphically. NO SENSE.

I've been reading through these forums for the last few days and have to say the pc community are cutting their own throats here...Granted Crysis 2 isn't what some expected going off some of the demo's and advertisment by EA and Crytek and I personaly don't know why things have changed on the release of the pc version to what was advertised apart from crysis 2 not being high rez in some textures and not having DX11...Now I know alot of people were expecting crysis 2 to serpass crysis 1 in the way the game looked and felt that it has'nt.

But what we have got is a game that has good gameplay and is reaching a bigger audiance to what crysis 1 did. I feel that although I too was expecting a graphics extravaganza, crysis 2 has excelled on gameplay instead this time round, were AI seem alot more intelligent and gameplay is alot more sophisticated than crysis 1 was. The problem we have on these forums at the moment is people are feeling that they have been let down by EA and Crytek. And I do undestand that alot of people feel that if they complain things will get done and improved.

But if this carries on it just make the pc community look bad and will make EA and Crytek think twice when and if they decide to make crysis 3, "which I hope they do" To include a pc version. It would be good if people posted saying what they expected, rather than giving grief for once.. I know I expected a little more with crysis 2, but also have to say it's not as bad as people are making out. I too have a good pc, but I don't upgrade to play "A" top game, I upgrade because I like to keep up with all the tech and being able to play new games without problems is a bonus. I'm just asking for people to think twice before rage posting and give a little detail in why there not happy, rather than blasting the forums with hate posts, would make the pc community a little more friendlier...

Your thread is honestly not making this whole Crysis 2 complaint fiasco any better, so its not like your helping at all either. You are not the only person on here that is older. I am 37 years old myself and as a diehard Crysis 1, and Warhead fan who paid money on hardware for my old pc to play those games, and then paid money on new hardware, and Crysis 2, then yes I will complain. Its not like we got the game for free, well those of us who are legitamate customers anyway. And its not like new computer hardware is cheap.

So yes, I am a working consumer just as yourself, who is passionate about this game series enough to question the developers on what the deal is after their first games were so awesome. Its all good though, its not the end of the world, but yes, the complaining is valid in this case. Some people are overly extreme about it and that I agree, but otherwise its justified for paying customers.

I think so. Console ports crowd the market and dilute the sales of proper PC games. That more than piracy is the reason that we don't get PC games pushing the boundaries very often anymore.

That and because some PC Gamers are still buying crap like COD anyways. Although COD is clearly a special case for reasons that escape me.

I don't reply after all posts because I'm actually sleeping...But will when I get round to it, because I don't sit at my pc all day..For all those saying people have rights to complain, yes they do..But in an apropriate manner, as I've already said people who reply being insulting are just idiots...People who reply and have the patients and know how the gaming world works are the ones doing things right...So for all those who condem me for saying what I think about the forum and then coming back with all the usual rubbish, need to wise up when it comes to having a little patients....I've been gaming for many a year from the old zx80, so I do know how fare games have come and respect what it takes to make these kinds of games....Which alot of you so called advlts seem to overlook when it comes to making complaints.....

In house testing or even beta testing with a few hundred people will not show every bug/problem untill a game hits mainstream, as it has happened for years bugs are then worked on and removed...Also which has been said depending on the company, crytek hands are tide and have to meet deadlines, even if you don't like what you have....I'm not apoligising for what crytek have done either, but I have the patients to wait and see what they do to improve the game....But for me I have no major complaints because I can play the game in 3d and I'm enjoying it. Yes people have problems, but it's how they go about solving those problems and rage posting isn't one of them..
