I'm guessing the beta is pretty buggy. Though I think it's probably very good as well.
I would think the controls are a bit funky, and the cars might have funky steering.

If I where to be right I hope, and have confidence in that it'll be fixed sooner or later.

That's too bad that it's possibly pretty buggy, I was hoping they would have ironed out the bugs by now. :/

The bugs I'm imagining are floating items and seethrough walls and such. So it's probably nothing that won't be fixed.

I'm sure they still have your old application.

Oh, well that's not too bad then. But as long as you imagine that this game is otherwise pretty good then I'm not worried.

So overall from a pure speculation point of view. The game may be great?

The official site got a makeover, and when you go to the main page you can watch the new trailer. There's also some new information in the FAQ, which I've copied and put below:

--PC Minimum Specifications:

Core 2 Duo 2Ghz or equivalent
2GB RAM (3GB for Vista64 / Windows 7 64)
nVidia GeForce 7800 - 256MB or equivalent
20GB Hard disk space

Headset and microphone recommended.

Broadband internet connection required.

--APB: All Points Bulletin will carry a Mature rating and is suitable for players aged 18 and over.

--APB and our APB websites will be localized into French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and English.

--The game will be available as a full-price PC title. We'll offer you flexibility on ongoing costs to guarantee great value - APB won't require a subscription commitment, nor will it rely on traditional micro-transaction offerings.

--You will also be able to purchase the game online and download the product. We'll supply a full list of ways to purchase the game, details of how to pre-order, and how to convert to the full product if you are selected for the beta testing program, as we approach launch.

Those are some heavy requirements. Ah well, Ol' Sally will be able to hold up to them.

I'll be able to handle the game just fine with my current rig and I hope to be upgraded by the time the game comes out.

But 20 Gigs of space? Jeeeesus. I thought 7.5GB was bad for DMC4 and 11GB for FFXI. That's nuts haha.

I'll watch the trailer and read more into it when I get home. Looking forward to playing with y'all when it comes out :D

Wait I thought they said there will be some sort of fee? Or did they announce again that you won't have to pay anything?

APB, Huxley, and Stargate Worlds are the main MMOs that I've been looking forward to for the past few years. APB looks awesome.

Who knows anymore, RW has been dancing around giving us a firm answer for so long now... and we still don't have a firm answer.

And unless we get a firm answer soon, I don't know if I can buy the game.

New gameplay videos:

Wow, the driving looks terrible. In a game where driving is one of the things you do the most, cars shouldn't be so hard to handle. I really hope they fix that before release.

All those videos besides the last one link back to this thread for some reason.

Hmm, I was able to watch the first one this morning (didn't try the other two), but it's doing the same thing for me now, too. That's weird. They must have taken the videos down.

New thread time!

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1084485-all-points-bulletin-discussion/

And that means that we have a winner for the name for the criminal clan! Winning by a microscopic 22-point margin, it's The 6th House with 32 votes! Well, yeah, they've had that number for weeks now but now it's official. :D
