All-Settings-Maxed Character Build

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:02 pm

1025 Skill Points are needed in order for a PC to max out every skill. 810 Skill Point are available through leveling to Level 50. Purchasing every Implant means a gain of 20 Skill Points. Through Intense Training*, the PC gains 54 Skill Points. Tag! Also provides 15 Skill Points. The collection of EVERY non-DLC Skill Book yields the PC a whopping 208 Skill Points. This is means that 1107 Skill Points are possible, leaving an 82 Skill Point surplus, and that an “every skill maxed” character is possible.
*Perks used are listed below.

Intense Training
- Luck (4)
- Endurance (2)
- Perception (3)
Tag!
Comprehension
Educated
Swift Learner (3)

Using 15 perks, they won’t all be utilized until level 30. Luck and Perception benefit the most skills when raised, so I raised them both to 10 through Intense Training. Intelligence is maxed at the start because I want the most Skill Points possible from the start, and there’s no way I can raise 400 caps and get to the Clinic before Level 2. This build is all about skill points.
Have I made any mistakes in my calculations? I’m not very good with all this spreadsheet number crunching stuff.

I have a chart that shows the starting position of each Skill after certain modifications are made, but apparently I don't have permission to post links?

I calculated the leveling Skill Points needed because while I’m leveling and earning leveling Skill Points, I won’t have all of the other Skill Point enhancing benefits right away, and I didn’t want to add any points from leveling that could be points from a skill book or a SPECIAL increase, etc.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are: You don't need to max them all - additional points from skill mags will suffice. The Perks & Caps used to gain the extra skill points can then be used more wisely.

If I said this was a "wisely use my caps and perks" build, then what you said would make sense. But this is strictly a skill points build. Skill points are the main focus of this character. I don't care about the rest.

I'm looking for ways to GAIN more skill points that I've overlooked, not "hey don't do it."

Don't misquote me.

I was just giving you friendly advice seeing as you asks for our thoughts. You clearly have an obsession with something that is not beneficial.

Enjoy your thread.
