To all snipers: do you prefer guns or energy weapons (EW) ? : Fallout: New Vegas

Sometimes, my reasons for such deep-seated hate don't make any sense. There are several reasons, but the first one is most important:

They look stupid. Really, really stupid. The blocky look of the Laser Rifle; the idiotic look as well as the loading mechanism of the Plasma Rifle; that stupid [censored] crank on the Gauss Rifle. I can't handle it

Even if I could get past their appearance, it seems like they are just too weak in New Vegas anyway. I'd rather spend my time with sixy guns. :shrug:

I know. It's sad. And it doesn't make any sense. But there it is.

No, its call Retro-futuristic. The biggest contribution of BGS to the Fallout series is reintroduce element from Wasteland and reinforce the 50s "future of tomorrow" Sci-fi looks..

i do alot of sniping with the all american, it is an awesome weapon as it has a scope and if your target gets too close it has a high enough rate of fire to kill quickly

I uses Sniper rifle. I uses Sniper rifle in all FO games. Gauss rifle used to be good in FO2 but very slow to load in FONV. So, mostly, I stick with sniper rifle.
