We're all terrorist!

Post » Sat Sep 04, 2010 2:19 pm

i'm sure some people will disagree with me,but in destroying the Enclave we're all terrorist.Because they were the Remnants of the U.S. goverment.I dont even see why the Enclave are made out to be the bad guys, they want a clean, pure wasteland for the greater good.I didn't like working with the BOS,a bunch of boy scouts in power armour drooling over a plasma rifle. All they do is horde tecnology and do nothing with it.And what is their ultimate goal?Get A BUNCH of plasma rifles so they can roll in them. The Enclave on the other hand did have a goal, rid the wasteland of mutants and rebuild America. Those glorified raiders known as "Bos" steal all they can and then hide in their little bunkers.Fallout is a game of choice, and dammit,I want to join the Enclave! I shouldn't be forced to work with people I dont want to.And without the aid of some 21 year old kid from a vault, the BoS would be in ruins. And since I never played Fallout 1 or 2,I didn't know how Navarro fell,BY THE NCR.Really? Did they plink them to death with service rifles? Ridiculous. And before any of you ask, yes, I did put the orbital strike on the citadel.Which is another thing, the Enclave could have wiped the Bos of the face of the map with a simple button press. This shows they didn't see the Bos as much of a threat. Please Bethesda, let me join the Enclave in the next fallout.I know they're still out there, and they have shown they can rebuld through anything. Thoughts?

I wanted to join Talon Company, but the New Vegas general discussion is no place to complain about Fallout 3's factional linearity.

Dont get the actual government mixed up with the Enclave. Talking about politics is a big nono. The last time I accedently said that P word; I got 10 whips to the behind with a spiky belt. I got the scars to prove it..

Not that I'm sure but he's talking about the game when referring to the government, The Enclave at least claim to be remnants of the pre-war American government, I think that's ok. ?

That is ok but he said "we are all terrorist" which makes me guess that he is referring to the government; government.

Since he is (i think) talking about Enclave factional options in Fallout 4, this should be locked and him pointed to the topic in series discussion

The best option to join the Enclave for the moment is to have a PC version of the game and to download some mods. I myself have gotten quite a few to the point where I have joined the Enclave in Fallout 3 in everything but being able to do a questline for them. we'll have to wait for the location of Fallout 4 to speculate whether the Enclave (remnants) will be featured in the game and to what degree (or if at all) we can aid them. If you like though I can give you my list of mods that I use to "join" the Enclave in Fallout 3 if you have a pc (FOMM would also be very much recommended).

Trust me, I would have done that 3 years ago. But,seeing as though I'm 14,can't work and have no money, I cant get a good gaming PC. Instead I'm stuck with the [censored] Box 360.

Then unfortunately the only thing I can recommend is to do what I did up until buying Fallout 3 for the PC. Dress up followers.

I was working on a mod for that a bit over a year ago but my last PC fried and I lost EVERYTHING :sadvaultboy: ...I may go back to it sometime, and I have learned my lessons......I had them set up in a bigger super-duper mart location by Canterbury Commons.

Haha thats exactly what I did (didn't buy NV for the PC). In some ways its kinda cool to RP as the last three Enclave in the mojave (besides the remnants of course). I like having an Eye-bot as a follower too. I wanted to have one in Fallout 3.

Such helpful little robots. Seriously...even if someone hates the Enclave, how can you hate those wee little fellers? All they do is fight baddies for ya.

Did you move Jabsco there? Jabsco, I have to say, chose a very stupid place for his HQ, a fort that was 90% broken with 1 Mister Gutsy. The outpost near the Riverboat Landing had a turret and a sentry bot, for crying out loud.

I hadn't gotten that far but I was making new NPC's and the store was VERY secure as a base, tripwire mines, robots, there was only one main way in an out but a secondary locked escape route, also was gonna have custom Talon power armor on a few guards, dogs and guards and multiple turrets in an outside.

I don't think you (original poster) have the full story about the Enclave. I too didn't play Fallout 1 or Fallout 2, but even I know that the Enclave are rotten at the core. They care only for themselves, and they would kill all outsiders as they're mutations (even if they really aren't). Not only that, but didn't the Enclave also fund Vault Tec's experiments on human subjects in most of the vaults? About what you said about the BOS, that's all on the west coast. The ones on the east coast are very dedicated to protecting the people of the Capital Wasteland from Raiders and abominations. However, some disagreed, and they formed a small group of outcasts. These BOS Outcasts are actually the true BOS (like you explained), not the east coast BOS.

 You, you are a good man, a great manm bigcrazewolf, you deserve the rank of Talon Veteran, what was the armor like? I had imagines it to be like East Coast Enclave APA Mk. 2 but darkened and tagged with the Talon on the chest and shoulder. I need details for my dreams. Yes, my dreams are of Talon Company, they are full of war, money, women, and booze; they are manly dreams.

This is a reason to not join them because........

I myself do not see the Enclave as "rotten to the core" as you so eloquently put it. I see them as a faction doing what needs to be done to guarantee the future of humanity and of the American Government.

Anyway lets drop the debate with that. We have enough of the "are the Enclave bad?" threads going around.

Not really, but :thanks: since I don't have experience using GIMP,Nifscok, or Blender I was gonna have someone make it for me, but it was gonna kind of be a mix up of different pieces of all available types of PA....stuff Talon company had collected and fashioned themselves, with plenty of Talon logo's. I hope that paints somewhat of a picture for you  about.......l would like to go back to it someday, but right now I am having fun with NV and modding with that and trying to learn more and more.

If I played on PC, I would pay people to mod Talon Company into New Vegas, but I, sadly, play on PS3 because I got it a while ago while my PC was adequate for playing Oblivion, but it couldn't play Fallout 3! Now I don't have the money nor the drive to get an entirely new PC just for mods.

If it's good enough to run TES4 it may just need a small upgrade for FO, I don't know off hand what the requirement differences are but it's the same engine so , really shouldn't be to far off..................... :whisper: someone has put Talon Company into NV, I haven't used the mod yet so I don't know about it but look http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35087
