I've been looking everywhere hoping I would see little Argonian and Khajiit. I'm yet to cover all the map, but it seems to me that all the kids in the game are Nord which is very disappointing. To be honest even if I saw a Breton or Imperial I'm not sure I'd recognize them, but Orcs, Dunmer, Khajiit, Argonian would be pretty distinct.

Yea, I think they're all Nord but who cares, they are annoying and useless anyway.

Playing tag was actually quite fun and a neat little diversion lol.

Would have been cool to have beast children, perhaps in the elder scrolls black marsh or elsweyr

Actually, some of the children are implied to be Bretons and Imperials. Bethesda just used the same child model for human races. Aventus Aretino is clearly an Imperial name, and I'm sure there are children with Breton names. However, most are Nords, just like most of the advlt NPCs.

The reason for no Beast or Elven children? Maybe Bethesda didn't feel like creating another character model?

Yea. It's in no way a big deal, but it does come off as a little lazy.

I'm sure a mod will come out for child diversity, same for the dogs. Bethesda games are usually lacking diversity for their world size at launch, if you compare to other games though it's on par if not more diversity so it's not that bad tbh. The problem is most games are much smaller in scope than Skyrim so when you apply the same diversity you end up having 3 child models.

This is the 3rd game (after Fallout 3 and Witcher) where I think the kids are a bad addition, they don't add [censored] to the spirit of the game.

Haha I'd die to see baby Argonians but unluckily Bethesda didn't think about them as a matter of fact Dragonborn1 (who always seemed to me to have good reliable inside info ) predicted early that there wouldn't be beast children.

Didnt notice that, well are the parents nords? If they were a different race then something is wrong here but say...jarl balgruf, he's a Nord and his kids are nords. So that seems accurate
