I'm wrapping up my design right now. You can follow me as Death_Bliss on twitter, and I'm on Facebook (as Zetsumei Kanki, the closest Japanese I could find to Deathbliss), MySpace (as Deathbliss) and YouTube (as Deathbliss). If I have anything to share with you, you will find information at these sites. I don't update very often and am really slow about getting back in touch with anyone - sorry.
I intend to remake and rename Valenwood for Unity 3D. I'm even going to look into creating actual blueprints and designs for some of the same models you will see in-game, which means you could actually license the design from me, hire an engineer and a licensed architect, then build a real tree house, should you want to (and should you have a tree large enough for it).
I will not use Morrowind material except perhaps for reference material in screenshots. No public release will ever contain Bethesda copyrighted material. Of course why would I need to use Bethesda models when I can make my own far better ones? Why would I need to use Bethesda textures when there have been about half a dozen far better high-res community released textures that I could use instead, (with the author's permission of course)? I say this for the benefit of the mods around here, especially the one I have referred to at the start of this thread.
For the record I never did buy Oblivion, exactly as I promised, and I probably won't buy Skyrim either. Bethesda will have to really impress me with their software to ever get me to look at their stuff again. Even if we got beyond that there's still the matter of how they treat the community, or rather allow the mods to treat certain members of the community, and as I am part of that unfortunate group I don't know that I want to interact with anyone who works for the company. These statements are not an invite for you to hijack and flame this thread. If you are a fan of Bethesda, perfectly happy with how they treat everyone, and plan to stand in line the night before Skyrim is released because you want it so badly, more power to you. I respect your feelings as I ask you to respect mine.
Later!
