To all you Brink haters out there.

Just leave, honestly just leave.

I can safely assume no-one on this forums wants to hear you complain about how much you hate this game and how you wasted your money.

We don't care.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the majority of you can't even justify why you don't like it.

"The guns take too many bullets to kill" or "Why can't I customise my face, WTF SD" are not good arguments.

You've become accustomed to CoD and can't accept this isn't another 'Homefront' or 'Crysis 2' which has just replicated CoD's formula and slapped on some new skins.

Just because you came into this game misinformed and lacked any 'real' infomation, don't go flaming it.

All games have there hiccups at release and as an avid PC gamer I'd have to say this would have to be one best games I've played ever.

So please do all us guys who are actually enjoying the game a favour and vacate the forums so we can actually talk about our beloved game.

Please tell me your the of the seemingly few people who actually understand the concepts of this game?

I would say I do, im happy with the game because thanks to the whole brink compendium and this forum I had a damn good idea what I was spending my money on. I find it a breath of fresh air to see a shooter not built on similar foundations to Call of Duty, only reason I was interested in this game in the first place was because I knew they were trying to do something new.

I understand the concepts perfectly. Its nothing new to me. However I feel there are major problems iwht things like level design and weapon balance.

To draw it out more since you claim that people dont elaborate enough...

Weapons arent balanced enough because they don't do enough damage. Having to pump an entire magazine into someone is utter [censored], and on top of that, you are only given 2-3 magazines worth of ammo for the half decent guns.

Not to mention suppressors lowering bullet damage is another major annoyance.


As for level design, the maps are bias towards defenders. Defending teams spawn almost right next to where the offence is trying to get to, so the defense team wins 90% of the matches. The other 10 is for when the defense team is completely brain dead. Also there are too many bottlenecks in the maps and/or the alternate paths are too close together, so figuring out where enemies are going to pop from is rather predictable.


And a finale bit ill say from my long list of issues. 25 second respawns are amazingly stupid. When the game requires fast paced decision making and actions, having half your team laying on the floor wiating for the timer to run out, you cant make an decent push on the objective. The majority of the time, medics dont bother trying to revive people, or are too far away. It has become commonplace for people to incopacitate players and leave them laying there because they know they can be out of acton for a good 30 seconds.


I love the concept of the game, but I just think it has balance issues that need to be addressed.

Actually people can voice their opinions all they like if you don't like it don't read it.

There really isn't any point in making a thread complaining about the complainers :nono:
