What do you think? I have a small brother he is 9 years old and he really wants to play this game (really bad). Should i allow him to play the game? Answer your opinion on what you think.

Of course he can. Tell him to just wait 10 years. But there is no reason to prevent him to play it then.

Otherwise, it is not only violent, but also deal with mature themes. (less than other titles, but still)

Some other moments are litterally disturbing, like the whole tranquility Lane simulation, that you are forced to go throught.

As humorous and silly as Fallout 3 is I probably wouldn't let a 9 year old play it, definitely not alone at least. Ignoring the obvious ultra violence there is prostitution, abuse and child kidnapping in this game.

I don't let my 11 year old daughter play it, so no I wouldn't let him play it. The ESRB is there for a reason, the subject matter in Fallout 3 is way to mature for someone that age. Tell him he can wait until he is 17+ to play it but until then he can read the game guide for it and help you through the game.
