Allowing user-created mods on the 360...

I think it'd be rather easy to implement. Maybe Bethesda could work out some sort of user-generated DLC sub-marketplace where we can download pre-approved user-created mods for free onto the Xbox? It only makes sense, monetarily and otherwise -- more folks would buy the 360 version (as well as the PS3) due to flexibility, which means less PC pirates downloading their game for free to take advantage of user-created mods.

If not such a marketplace, maybe they could create some sort of simple PC mod to Xbox DLC converter so that we can transfer it from our PC to our 360 thru a USB or something. I just really think that the Xbox desperately needs user-created mods, because there's just a plethora of must-haves that have been created for FO3 (as well as Oblivion) that made me really feel left out simply because I'm not fortunate enough to have a $500 PC pimped with the latest graphics card just to play games on. Believe me, if I could run FO on my PC I'd have bought it in a snap instead of on the Xbox, but for many of us that's simply not an option.

The best part is, it'd be absolutely no cost or risk for Bethesda. Maybe I'm not really in the know as to why they don't allow custom mods on the Xbox, but from where I'm standing I can only see monetary benefit for them by implementing it. There couldn't possibly be any kind of drawback.

Microsoft wont allow mods, and the consoles cannot support them. They do not have the required hardware and the Geck is made to work off extensions in Windows. So no, its not going to happen.

Nope. There will be no user made content for the 360, it is not permitted by Microsoft.
