Not so much creepy as nostalgic for me. It brings back fuzzy memories of me soloing bunkers and steam rolling defense lines at some old oil refinery called Absheron or something like that. I have all these grainy images in my brain of me mowing down entire squads of easy-mode-riding scrubs that all went by the name "Sever" or something like that....

Brink's "Resistance" reminds me so much of those delusional fanatics from another world at what seems a lifetime ago. Container city seems to get my blood pumping just the way those fuzzy memories of that other place does.
Hell, whenever I hit that first corner to leave the dock towards the first objective, that initial bottleneck sends my adrenaline rising off the scale, as I try to ignore the faint whispers of the voices in my head chanting, "frack your funnel, scrubs, I'm not impressed... it only helps to make sure that you all know exactly where hell comes from as I unleash it upon you all".

I don't like playing alone, so I use the Advanced match setting in freeplay, unless I'm with a party. Never see any empty maps that way.
