It's already been a month since the announcement

Post » Sat Oct 09, 2010 7:32 pm

It just ocurred to me that it's already been a whole month sicne this game was announce and there are only 10 more to go!
So, has this month gone fast for you? And how will you be making time fly by for the next 10 months?
I plan on sleeping as much as possible and trying not to think about Skyrim ( as if that's going to happen :unsure2:)

I'm going to focus on school and get good grades so i can get my car and drivers liscence; and then get a job at GameStop; and finally play through Oblivion all the way through and play the expansion packs SI and NoTN. :obliviongate:

I'm finding the wait fairly tolerable at the moment. After the summer it'll probably be excruciating.

Already? Well last month really did fly. I'm sure I'll find ways to occupy myself. Especially since I turned 18 on the 4th. :hubbahubba:
I can finally buy super glue for arts & crafts! SCORE! :P

I've been wanting it to go a lot faster than it has been. It's not fast enough!

Life is good right now, and thus time just flies by. I think these next 10 months will go pretty fast as well, and there are tonnes of game being released this year so that will help too.

Think about it this way, Pete Hines said that there will be gameplay vids in about a month( if not gameplay at least a gameplay trailer :foodndrink: ) and you can probably keep yourself busy by playing Morrowind and Oblivion for most of the year. <_<

Thanks for reminding me about the gameplay video, now this next month is going to go real slow. Maybe I'll finally get around to finishing the main quest in Oblivion.

To be honest I'm glad its not out for a year.

Right now I'm doing a 9 month Internship for my sports science degree on top of training 25 hours a week. I just simply don't have the time. The only time I have free is spent with my girlfriend who I barely see during the week these days. I can't afford to lose focus on my goals right now irl so thankfully I have 10 months until its released.

Ive also got tons of games lined up to play in my spare time. I haven't played dragon age yet, planning on replying Morrowind this year some time, have yet to play shivering isles and a few more that I have forgotten.

Also if you wan't time to go fast make yourself extremely busy. I wake up at 7 am out the door by 8 at my internship by 9 and finish about 4, head to the gym til 5, eat some dinner and then training 6 -10, in bed by 11.

The days literally fly past. It literally feels like yesterday that it was announced.

Considering life is a relentless march to our deaths... I kinda try NOT to make time fly by. Just remember, every month that passes is one month closer to you dieing... so think long and hard about how fast you really want to make that time pass.

Last month went really fast, but with it being the holiday period that is to be expected. Time flies when your having fun afterall. The next 10 months might go fast if I ignore every preview of Skyrim out there. But I know I won't do that so at some point the hype is going to overload me and I'll be checking up on the game EVERY DAY. I hope to push that point as far away into the future as possible, preferably to early Q4 2011.

for the next 10 months, ill eat breakfast in the morning, take a shower after breakfast, sleep until the afternoon, eat lunch, go for a walk outside, sleep until dusk after my walk, eat dinner after my sleep, watch sports on tv for a hour, then go to sleep for the night until morning...

I'm hoping I'll have snagged myself a full time postgrad job so all the stress and chaos of starting fresh somewhere will keep me distracted from thinking about the wait :)

The month has gone by fast despite trying to get my foot healed due to tendinitis... so annoying. Oh well, almost have it fixed at 99% or so it seems.

The only way I can handle the excruciatingly long amount of months is sleep away my summer vacation, or...no-life world of warcraft. Only way I can deal with the lack of Skyrim. I started getting twitchy about Cataclysm on the 2 weeks left mark. But skyrim. Psh i was twitchy the moment it was announced.
