Alright, I can't take it anymore!

I've run this path from Whiterun COUNTLESS times, but this is the first time I've come across this. How have I missed this in the nth 100 hours I've played this game?

I mean this is literally just outside Whiterun on the way to the Silent Moons camp.

Saw this day 1, but it's still fun to discover something you haven't after all that time.

This has been mentioned before in the forums before and is available EARLY in the game. There is one place off the main road near the trail to Sleeping Tree Camp which I literally stumbled upon a while back that has three or four old dragon totem switches around a circular pad. I'm assuming they unlock the stair to a barrow. One of these days I'm going to take the time to unlock it and do a thorough investigation. I love it when you run across new/formerly unnoticed content.

A shout (even Kyne's Peace) will dislodge it and basically dismantle the set up from quite a way away, so you could easily miss it in your game.

I guess that's possible.

Lady Nimue FTW! Oh my god i never saw that :D

I DID recently discover that weird tree the Giants guard. The one that gives you a health-boost potion.

Does anyone know, by chance, if that skeleton in a haystack reaching for the beer (i think it's inside Swindler's Den) is a reference to something?

I always pick up the beer, and put it near his/her skull.

It's a King Arthur easter egg. What's the big deal?

Some of my cells are a bit buggy and do not reset properly, but I think the tableau will not even reset when the cell resets. So once you destroy it (and it's fragile, unlike some other set ups in Skyrim, like the human skeleton inside a mammoth skeleton), it's gone for good. In my game the arm and hand float separately at the edge of the pond, with the sword having sunk to the bottom. :(

It's actually just a treasure box.

OP have you found the giant mud crab yet? It's close to the Sleeping tree camp if I remember correctly, the other thing that I have yet to cross in my travels is the https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQwB3vk1PfnVMyc07Bl5hSOvcsbriAWtEOUFiriL1QbN_GJD1ot4w

I recently found the skeleton in mammoth bones too. I'm still looking for the valuable gem that can be found
Spoiler
in a deer carcass near Anise's Cabin.
I've even read directions to it but can't find it.

I hope my spoiler tags worked.

My favorite Easter egg! The sword normally levels. I saw it as glass on one of my characters. I've never taken the sword though, don't want to ruin it.
