Someone care to explain why the Ebony battle axe is not only 4-5 times larger than the warhammer but swings faster and does less damage? ( I know it doesn't matter at all but it's quite odd when something that is probably the size (if not larger) than the average Skyrim citizen doesn't do as much damage as a hammer that is maybe the size of a child)

Swing speeds:

Greatsword > Greataxe > Warhammer

Base damage:

Warhammer > Greataxe > Greatsword

It's an aim for preference not superiority. Take your pic and have fun. It really wont matter in the end the difference in both speed and damage are very small.

Faster swings = lower damage
Slower swings = Higher damage

I already know that much just curious,more or less, how something the size of a fully grown Nord swings faster and does less dmg then a medium sized sladge hammer D:
