Basically, I alt-tab frequently due to reasons I don't want to share.

Sometimes when I alt-tab, the CPU usage drops to 0% because the game apparently stops somewhere and I have to kill the game from Task Manager. Origin is also affected, it literally hangs and I see only a white square of the window.
It happens rarely, but it still happens.
