[RELz] Alternate Hlaalu Ground Textures

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 1:25 am

Just a couple textures inspired by papill6n's "various graphics things" mod, and based on his excellent cobblestone texture. These are designed to fit in better with Morrowind's "worn and weary" aesthetic.

Keep in mind I'm a texture new player, so if anyone wants to improve/ alter these in any way, please feel free :)

Are those 2 different textures? Because the second 2 screens have more colorful stones that the first two. The first screens make Balmora look more depressing and in need of plants to brighten up their lives. the second two look fantastic :D

Hah!

The less colorful ones are the "low Balmora" cobbles- worn down by peasant feet, stained with guar dung, and filthy from silt and flooding. The second two are "high Balmora", where The Great House Hlaalu conducts business. We wouldn't want councilors getting their feet dirty, now would we? ;)

edit: I have a more saturated version of that texture available, if you want it. :)

Well, since you've explained the locations of the textures, I'd have to say they are both perfect. :D

You know, it's the explanation that tipped the scales in favor of this replacer for me. I never really noticed it, but you're right, the stonework in Uptown *should* be better kept than Downtown.
