[Idea] Alternate Tribunal Main Quest

1 - Making Perfect Unperfect
Mayby after the new main Tribunal quest, PC will gain information from Sotha Sil, that we want's to finish Unperfect now, when the Dagon is defeated and he is - more of all - mortal, and need immortal body. That could be side quest, or finish of main quest, I don't know. I think also, that Clockwork City should be expanded and "live" more, if Colckmaker is alive. After i finished MQ of Morrowind with my Telvanni mage, I always dreamt of meeting Sotha Sil, this wise Seht, Secret of Morrowind, great wizard, stuff ;) . This mod could give me - us, players - oportunity to expand relations with him.



the perfect imperfect to host his soul is not a bad idea. It may be an interesting side quest. You would have to write all the dialogue for this, because I am focused on the Main Quest.
It'll have an open end. Mehrunes Dagon and his followers are going to kill Almalexia and Sotha Sil. The Player has the opportunity to save them ot not.

Anyway, now that Sotha Sil is complete, I have to make Mehrunes Dagon, and then work on the quest. :)

You go Arcimaestro! If anyone can do this mod, and FINISH it, it is you! I love and use all of your mods. This may just bring me back to Morrowind from Oblivion if you do this!

I think what you've outlined in your original post goes a little too far. I'd much rather see the Sotha Sil resource used in one of two ways:
1. A quest to revive Sotha Sil
2. You find Sotha Sil still alive in Tribunal, but weakened and near death. You have the option of killing him for an easy fight or helping him enact vengeance on Almalexia.

Still. ANY mod with that awesome Sotha Sil resource involved will be worth a play through.

I know that every statue shows a more tribal Dagon and that in oblivion is the same giant public pervert walking semi-nvde trough the world he is invading... But (just an Idea don{t think it{s lore-breaking ) maybe you could trow some daedric armor at him so he looks more war-ready.. it would be awesome to see it walk out the portal with some thick heavy armor and some fire particles maybe a combination of particles and the script from the flame atronach mod wich makes them leave a trail of fire behind them wile they run. I mean after all he{s the god of destruction and natural disasters.

Mehunes having an armor sounds cool I would be ok with him looking like a six limbed Vivec but having a daedric armor nasty would be awesome too

Wow! This version of Mehrunes Dagon looks 1000 times better than the one in Oblivion. Good job!

That{s awesome I{ve a question, have you considered using some armor parts and weapons from Hedgehog12 better armor and weapons mods? so Mr Dagon could habe shiny Glowmaped Daedric battle axe and armor?

the animation looks fantastic. But I was thinking it might be cool if he had a stomp or arm swipe animation mixed into his attacks to demonstrate the fact that he is huge. Just a thought.

This looks absolutely amazing... Mehrunes Dagon and Sotha Sil... a death cult preaching about the end-of-times... perhaps mysteriously tied to Dagon's own Mythic Dawn?


Everything I have seen so far from this is precisely the kind of thing I've wanted out of the Tribunal main quest.

As for those who say Sotha Sil should die... why?

He's more machine than man now, anyways... even without his supposedly divine powers he could probably live on for centuries if not millennia. Stripped of his powers, he's little more than a mad clockmaker trapped in a city of metal gears. To leave his sanctuary would be to show all of Nirn his mortality and frailness. Like Vivec and Almalexia, isolation from the public is the only way to keep up appearances.

Besides, even if Sotha Sil is dead... nobody would believe it. Nobody believes Vivec or Almalexia can die either.

So why should killing Sotha Sil off be 'mandatory' as a part of the Quest? If this is a re-imagining of the Tribunal main quest, as Antares has said, then let us let his vision of Morrowind be the one which shows through... not our preconceived notions of what it ought to be. Tribunal did the 'Divine Betrayal' plot already. For me... it left nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth. After all, my character is supposed to be the reincarnation of Nerevar. My prophetic [censored] just came back from the DEAD, saved Morrowind, and put an end (or assured the reign of) Dagoth Ur!

Almalexia... my wife from a former life... the very woman who helped betray me and very possibly had me murdered... has had lifetimes to reflect upon her actions. She has witnessed my slaying of a God... and the salvation of Vvardenfell. Mad Goddess or not... I am a force to be reckoned with... and she would have to be divinely -stupid- to actually think she could slay me. Yet she does so... and is summarily defeated with -ease-.

That isn't satisfying. That's lame.

So keep up the epic work, Antares. And do your own thing... tell the story the way -you- want it to be told. Either we'll love it, or we won't... but it's guaranteed to be of superb quality no matter what..
