When you die no longer does the game automatically reload as usual. It enables a free cam mode allowong you to spectate the end result of whatever you and your companion were doing. As you die your companion is set as non essential so they could die too.


During free cam nobody can seenor interact with you


If you travel upwards to the sun or moon high enough here is a white flash and bang similar to the atomic bomb at the start, the game loads you back into your body and places you back into Pre-war sanctuary hills, where you are in your undamaged house, where your wife is sitting there watching tv and shaun (who is 10) is sat by the tv screen on the floor with a grognak comic and a few toys. They greet you but dont say anything more. Your wife / husband tells you they have missed you (taken from dialogue you say when rekindling a relationship with a companion who broke up with you as its same voice actors)


Essentially you are in your perfect vision of the afterlife. Back with your family.

If someone wants to make a radio station, play the same music as diamond city radio but instead of Travis speaking, someone record their voice and host it, you can broadcast future news events that happened after your death. Could even me tion the vault dweller sadly is no longer with us. That the institute destroyed the prydwen or that the brotherhood destroyed the institute, anything like that. Make several future bersions of history so its different every time. Be interesting to see the outcome you made after you died))
