Alto Wine stuck in Inventory (quest item?)

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 4:03 pm

I have 24 bottles of Alto Wine stuck in my Inventory at the moment, and I cannot remove them as it says they are quest items. I cannot seem to track down which of my quests they are for, and I have read each one to find out but to no avail. It's getting a bit annoying as the wine is 0.5kg each, so I have 12kg of inventory space used up that I cannot clear.

Any ideas?

It may be for the quest with Gulum-El where you have to bring him a case of firebrand wine? Forgot the name of the quest but it's a thieve's guild quest ...

I had that issue while on the quest where you get drunk with the guy in the tavern
Spoiler
and you wake up in some temple. (you pick some of the bottles up when cleaning the mess you made in the temple)

If your on that quests, the wine will be sellable again once you've completed the questchain. No worries.

You're right, it was that quest chain! Yay. Only needed 2 bottles to be picked up on that quest, but every subsequent bottle I picked up elsewhere was counted as a quest item, even though it was not needed. Bit of a bug there methinks, but I completed the quest, and now I was able to sell off all the excess wine. Thanks very muchly.
