Also, more good news- it looks like LOD may actually make it into the final product. The GECK usually has trouble with generating for large worldspaces, but Schallwert and OnmyojiOmn, both members here, came up with a great idea on how to get it working. Meshes generated fine, now I've just got to get the textures working and we're good to go!
And for those of you who aren't familiar with LOD, it's the difference between seeing only a few cells in front of you vs. seeing a vast, epic landscape stretching into the distance.
