I always hated when NPCs said this...

Read the part when a guard rides right by him. He says something like, " I don't time for you stranger".
UGGGH!!! I hate that! Although i know it has been better than "stop wasting my time", it's so rude and annoying. And almost all NPCs eventually said that in MW/OB.

Well, it's not like there won't be rude, annoying NPC's. There are rude and annoying people in real life.

Yes, let's now complain about extremely tiny details in this game. <_<

Like i said, almost ALL npcs said a rude comment like that in MW/OB. The first friendly-person this guy came across said "i dont have time for you". I wonder how the rest will be like.

Its more realistic. Why would a guard stop what hes doing just to talking to criminal scum like you?

How would you like it if when walking through town an NPC would walk up to you and start converstion every 3 seconds. Then they asked about rumors and only spoke one or two worrds at a time, usually names or subjects

I think it adds realism. Not everyone you meet would want to stand there and tell you their life story if you are a stranger.

Oh no, somebody was rude to you! That never happens in real life at all!

Wait, no, I'm hoping that there are Dunmer who say "[censored] OFF N'WAH I'M BUSY." Yeah, that'd be awesome.

In Morrowind yes, because you were a filthy outlander. Not so in Oblivion, not at all.

What they say as a greeting is usually based on how much they like you. This means you either never had a high personailtiy or speechcraft in OB/MW, or you never used the speech min-game to make them like you more. (People also like you more in OB if you use spells, put away you weapon, and finish quests for them).

There's a civil war going on. Nords are the dominant race. The journalist was playing a Bosmer. The player is a stranger in the beginning of the game. :whistling:

Nobody says "I don't got'st time for you." as you walk by...
