Amazing FPS Title

Check it out,

Basically I've been waiting for quite a long time for this game to come out, I understand they're trying to appeal to certain users... wait... WHAT?! We're all gamers here, you need to appeal to the community. Your community is going to need to have something that will support that community. You've got the forums laid out perfectly, was simple getting on here. Now, you need to follow that connection with a little multi-player action. I've had this game for over a week now, yeah, for the first few hours I actually thought I was playing online. Never realized there were bots in the room, never actually thought there would be bots to begin with. I started to realize it was VERY lonely. Couldn't talk to anybody, couldn't make directive remarks to whom ever, couldn't even determine how much level of stealth knowledge I was going to apply to this game. So far, ZERO.

When I walk into a room with 4-5 goal camping bots, there is no way to trick them, nothing to withstand their main focus. In killing you. Now this is alright on hard difficulty, actually it isn't... they're too bad ass for their own good when they group up like that. Solely for the fact they're bots, if it were humans. Then I would actually feel intimidated because... WOW these people playing are actually intelligent. Alright, lets try to figure out a way to best these mou'fugga'z. With bots, you can do that sometimes... but THERE IS NO REWARD IN THAT. Sure you beat the level, you acquire some items... but in the end you bested minor intelligence that were told to do that. Not somebodies collective decision to stand there like an idiot and shoot everyone who comes in.

Bots on your team now, still following me? Good.

They like to... -sigh- actually go after a goal that isn't intended to win right before the match has ended. I would be sprinting to a package like 20 seconds to grab it, and maybe 10 seconds away from it, a bot on my team is like "Screw this, I'mma go for this nice simple supply depot. ^_________^" Then I have to go in all by myself, with nobody on my 6 guns blazing hoping to just nick the objective for a fraction of a section hoping I could score some overtime minutes. NO. I was unable to communicate my thoughts or plans because some herpderp bot was all over that supply depot. Hard difficulty I might add. Sure they might had faith in me grabbing the objective all by myself... but still.

Now please. For the rest of my life, I wish to never see a bot again. Ever. Stopped playing Unreal when I was 12 because of this reason. I'm 21 now, enjoying competitive play and see lots of potential for this game. So far I'm loving the game-play, loving the character, not so loving the lack of character development in the story line. What is that? Loving the graphics, the mechanics, and sure, even loving the menu layouts. But for real? There are bots online? You should choose whether or not you want to see those creeps in your room or not. Bots are meant for a story line, but if the option is there to have players... playing... nuh-uh. There needs to be options filled with choices to get rid of those bots in a match when you want to play multi-player.

Who's with me? Please developers, listen to our plea's and fulfill our wishes. Bethesda and Splash-Damage, I've been a fan of your games for years. Engraved your logo's on my glass desk here along with my other favourite companies and games. It looks sick if you ask me.

That aside, this game is amazing with those minor details we've all been discussing here on the forums. So please, make those changes across all these interconnected platforms.

Thanks,

Yours truly, dat dude who wrote on your forums.

P.s, try to see what you can do about split-screen multi-player. Thanks bro. <3

I agree.

Can you post a pic of your glass desk? I'm curious about how awesome it must be.

so.... you even love the menu layouts?
well, there is in fact an option to play without bots, buried deep within the craptastic menus.
not your fault for not finding it, the menus are terribly designed

Bots have been on the ball lately.

I still play Unreal BECAUSE the bots are willing to play whatever mod or mutator combination I want instantly. Great bots.

Oldskool mode avoids bots and has players. It >never does< but it's SUPPOSE to have at least 4 players in game at any time, vacancies filled with bots. Instead, I get 1-on-2 matches with only players which is nice.
Actually, most people seem to have flocked to standard lately (PS3)

Imagine a game with no online, just development time focused on really smart bots. You're imagining incorrectly right now. Not unreal tournament's or Brink's pretty good bots but ones that are obscenely intelligent. Designed to respond to voice communication even. Bots that surprise you with what they do. Learning AI. Also, don't hate on the bots or imma beat u >: (
