Ambiant Sounds

I have an interior cell that I want to have ambiant background sounds in, so....

I created a new Sound in the CS and made my daytime sound, which I set to play from 7am to 7pm. I placed it in my room and it plays fine, starts at 7am and stops at 7pm.

I created a new Sound in the CS and made it my night time sound and set it to play from 7pm to 7am and placed it in the room. But, it doesn't play at all. At 7pm my daytime Sound stops and there is silence until 7am.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

I can't add a script directly to the sounds, although that would solve the entire problem.

A wild guess: The first sound added "owns" those two times, and thus controls what happens at them. Try running 7:01 to 19:00 and 19:01 to 7:00.

Good wild guess, thanks. :)

Unfortunately that wasn't it. But when I went ingame to check I found out that when I exit the cell and then reenter, the night time sounds will play. So I guess it is to do with cell loading.

If anyone knows a better way to set up the sounds to avoid this problem I would love to hear.

You could make the sounds persistent references and enable/disable them via script.
