I have quite a lot of stuttering in Skyrim, especially when I am riding along on my horse which is very annoying. Every few seconds it will stutter, and when I autosave there is a stutter that lasts over a second. I also get considerable micro stuttering. Could this be because of the FX processor? I have a FX 8350 and a GTX 770.
I have tried:
- Inserting a line in the 'ini' file to limit the cores, like the fix in Fallout 3.
- Enabling VSync, and limiting pre-rendered frames.
- Dramatically increasing grass render distance.
- Windowed mode.
Another point to add is that I get a constant 60fps at ultra settings and I am running ENB with climates of tamriel, among other graphical mods.
Thanks in advance.
