The America Convention Redux

A convention to follow the alternate events of Fallout 3 and New Vegas

Events and setting:

East Coast
During the events of Fallout 3, the Enclave rolled over the East Coast Brotherhood of Steel. The purifier was taken first then rolling over the Citadel and taking over Liberty Prime. After these events, they took over many of the cities, towns and villages. They then commenced Genetic Screening tests on the population. All sub-humans were effectively passed but Ghoul, Mutants, were eradicated.

During the Enclave’s occupation operation, Mr. Tenpenny initiated a plan for the formation of his own state. Keeping true to his promise that Tenpenny Tower was “only the beginning” Mr. Tenpenny used his considerable wealth obtained from his Tower in order to hire mercenary forces to begin carving out a state in the area of upper Virginia. His progress was quite phenomenal, and soon he began the preparations for the creation of what amounted to the beginnings of a “New Vegas” of the East Coast. Despite though, Mr Tenpenny was halted by the Enclave as they wanted to encompass all of Virginia. Tenpenny was able to form Tenpenny Industries as a business instead and able to have half the wealth of Tenpenny Towers allocated to him and the others to the Enclave.

Eventually, Colonel Autumn deactivated President Eden and usurped his rule, renaming the Enclave to the United States of America. He then started a program called the American Restoration Act, to restore old cities and the countries ideals. President Autumn started to tear down wasteland cities and started moving them on former sites of U.S Cities. Springvale, Bethseda, etc. He also started to reestablish the monorails.

By now, the United States of America are now a powerful and fearsome foe, with the largest army on the East Coast, having tebuilt D.C and now encompassing Maryland and Virginia. With technology advances occurring and a well living life, they dream of restoring America is now at hand.

While that, in the New England Commonwealth, the Commonwealth of New England has a large country formed on the Ideals of science and Order. They make advances almost on a daily basis and has a small but highly technological army.

As for the Abbey of the Road, they simply remained a independent group within the Commonwealth, contributing to them but still devoted to there faith and humanity.

In New York, a Vault 99 opens, with it at its helm, the former bankers who were in cryostat of the old world emerge to a battered New York. Them seeing this, integrate within the other towns, as there influence sways them. With that, the economic intelligence of the bankers help New York to start become rich and profitable. At the same time, they hire large amounts of Merc to clear out the problems plaguing New York. With that, they establish there capital on the standing remains of the Rockefeller Center. By now, New York has a established government based on Capitalism and Laissez-faire. The New York Economic Zone has a defensive army, clearing out the threats that plague New York slowly but steadily.

DLC Outcomes (The Pitt and Point Lookout):
Lord Ashur effectively puts down Wernher's Rebellion. With that, Ashur continues using slavers and raiders, while they find a cure for TDC. Soon, the Pitt grow.

By now, TDC has been cured and the Pitt has transitioned to a Democratic Rule. The Pitt becomes a raw industrial powerhouse with many factories at its disposal and a large army.

As for Point Lookout, the U.S.A commenced a cleansing operation there, seeing it as a hell hole for Mutants. Only humans there survive. Pilgirms Landing is a port now, and the U.S.A holds a large research base there.

Midwest:

With the defeat of the calculator, the MWBOS, under the control of the now merged Barnaky, took control of much of the lands of the Midwest. Barnaky formed a powerful state on par in strength with the Legion and the NCR with his military supported by a mix of veteran Brotherhood soldiers and calculator robots.
As a result of Barnaky’s hatred of mutations, the MWBOS began rounding up, tagging, and enslaving all those of known genetic divergence. Super-mutants and ghouls were forced to endure harsh conditions in labor gulags to perform tasks that were considered too dangerous, or simply beneath that of pure-blood humans.

In an attempt to throw off the yoke of the MWBOS, a resistance group known as the Mutant Liberation army was formed, with the intent of freeing and aiding their mutated brethren. Any individuals who were suspected of aiding this outlaw movement, were interrogated and executed by Barnaky’s hand-picked inquisitors.
Still the MLA remained a thorn in the side of the Midwestern Brotherhood, and hounded their efforts in any way they could. Utilizing guerrilla tactics and sabotage, they fought for their freedom and lives. Overwhelmed by the strength of the Midwest however, they had little hope of outright victory. Eventually, battered, beaten, and on the verge of extinction, the MLA fled for the southern Midwest in an attempt to form a new life away from the influence of the MWBOS. Here they have remained, hiding in secret.

In Michigan, another faction is there, the Michigan Federation. Formed under Raymond Jensen, Mr House vice president of RobCo. Jensen soon starts to sway the other town to support him with cybernetics. Before the war, he was a cybernetics expert. He then forms the Michigan Federation.
By now, they encompass all of Michigan and have a large cybernetic army with robots with large production facilities at Detroit.

In Texas, a republic was formed, by the name of Texas Republic. They are much similar to NCR.

West Coast:
During the events of New Vegas, the Courier helped Mr House defeat NCR and Legion. The Vegas Federation was formed, and became a powerhouse later on.
By now, they have all of Nevada under control. With Big Mountain and Area 51, they become a medium sized power in the West Coast greater in technology by NCR. They a mish mash armies consiting of Humans, Robots, and Super Mutants from Jacobstown.

As for NCR, they expeirnced defeat and despair. Riots broke out throughout NCR, halting there progress. NCR almost went bankrupt but saved itself.
By now, NCR is a large powerhouse in the Wst Coast only being surpassed by the Vegas Federation in technolgy.

After Vegas, the Brotherhood of Steel commenced guerilla operation on the falling NCR. They also headed up North towards Washington to form there own state while attacking NCR from the inside.
By now, the BOS up in Washington are a medium sized force. They still have somewhat sour realtions with NCR after what theyve done. They have a medium sized army and have mmost of Washington.

The Legion following their defeat, has retreated to their lands in the east and has all but given up on the chance to capture New Vegas. They now watch their borders with suspicion, as they are unsure of the motives of the Midwestern Brotherhood as well as the Vegas Federation.

The Great Khans, following the battle of Hoover Dam, left the region to rebuild in Wyoming. Here, they left with the Vipers and Jackals. Finding abandant natural resources, sped up there progress and power eventually gaining the use of vehicles.
By now, they have a quasi nation with the ideals of Mongols and Democracy. They have a large hardy army woth vehicles and now encompass Montana and the Dakotas.

DLC Outcome (Lonesome Road and OWB):

-The missiles in the divide were not launched at anyone and were deactivated.
- The Think Tank and Big MT work bor the VF

Convention Location and Premise:

With their victory on the east coast and with the establishment of the U.S.A, United States of America has sent diplomatic overtures to the various nations of what was once the United States in both a move to declare its operations publicly and to ensure that since they can no longer use the FEV Curling 13 virus, that the progress of the areas of the former U.S. continues in a manner that they approve of. As a first step on this road, the U.S believes that a formation of an entity similar to the former UN would benefit the situation greatly.

The convention shall be located at the rebuilt White House meeting room were the President Reisdes.

Transportation for the event will be arranged the following ways and all planes shall land at Adams Air Force Base and shall take Metro.

NCR, BOS, Vegas, KE, will have Vertibirds. Caesars Legion shall get transport from NCR.

MWBOS, TR, MLA will have Vertibirds. The DF will have a old Boeing 767

The U.S.A, and Pitt can simply walk. The Commonwealth will have Vertibirds along with New York. AOTA will get transport.

Rules:

-The convention will be strictly moderated by myself.

OOC: Whatever the hell you want to say.

War is acceptable but dont just declare war on the spot. Have gradually build up, then we will decide a outcome.

-When you make a post, title it properly with your character’s name, title and the faction you are representing. If your character performs an action use * to enclose the action and indicate your character’s is movement or what they are doing. Likewise use quotation marks to indicate dialogue.

-If you have questions about something (quest outcome etc.), ask it in the OOC thread.

-Do your best to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It’s easier to read and understand and makes everything look better. It’s also hard to take delegates seriously that don’t use it.

-Give you representatives dynamic character and for your opening post, perhaps give us an idea of what they are wearing etc.

-The representatives will be allowed one bodyguard and one assistant in the convention room (if you’d like, you don’t have to have any). They are also allowed to carry weapons if you would like, just for RP purposes. However, there will be no “fighting” between the delegates, so the weapons shouldn’t really be used (unless you want to shoot your assistant or a slave or something that you bring with you..)

- All factions shall have vehicles, to make there militaries interesting.

Faction Spots: Here’s a current list of factions participating and the forum members representing them and I’ll add the in-character representatives as they appear (If you’d like, for your character you can write a short bio for him/her and the faction you are representing in the OOC thread. This is not required. Tehy can be others later if you guys suggest.

So these are the same events from the other convention Andronicus made? If so, sign me up for the Mojave BoS again. I'll have Alan be the rep again.
