I fully agree on this, myself.

Ill-advised is right. Did I mention Aurodia? The nation that had three other powers declare war on it for expansion? One was a super-state union of two other countries even.

I understand. I had this expansion planned. I have no other plans to expand.

And stop attacking me just because expand. It makes hurts me. :(

There were 2 choices for me. Take all of Alaska or expand South because Alaska has interest in the former Canadian city of Edmonton.

Edited my http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/8608/mvn.png. What do you think?

Oh wait, I forgot one thing. On the map I posted, I had a little colony in gray where the Panama Canol is, since Solus is heading the renovation. Just wanted to make sure it doesn't get left out.

Will do.

I've personally never attacked you for expansion.

Just for insulting my delegate. :stare:

But if you slow down your expansion, no one would have cause to attack.

I really think you either need to choose north or south to go.

Besides, if this is one turn of expansion, you are going to own most of Canada within, what, three turns?

Way, way, too much.

Conventions are about tactical decisions. If you know you have an important choice to make for a turn, you can't choose both options.

Having your cake and eating it too etc.

Just so everyone knows, Ulysses is going to be a planned part of my faction and serves as the second general of my nation in addition to being the Grand Inquisitor's Royal Advisor.

If there's any complaints then show them now.

Just wondering.

That's still too much IMO.

Can't you wait until Turn 2 at least before expanding to either the rest of Alaska or Edmonton? Plenty of turns to go yet. You don't have to do everything on turn one.

Patriarch Traven, back in the day.

Or maybe it was some kind of heretical statement. Something about mutants and robots.

He'd established a city in the west. He's been captured as a valuable asset, when presented to the Grand Inquisitor he was decided as a good candidate for Royale Advisor and trained. Their ideals are not too terribly far off, after being jaded by being exiled the Previous Courier 6 bore little qualms with the Inquisitory and saw them as a compromise between the Bear and the Bull.

I, nor anyone else, ever attacked you. We just express our problem with your proposed expansion.

No, those aren't your only options. You could just, not take a big plot of land and ... go smaller.

If you could, add some red on there too please, since the Legion is going to be part-owner as well.

Eh, I can't find that plausible at all.

And since he's a former Frumentarius, doesn't the Legion kind of have say over him?

Why don't you make a land-jump and take Edmonton only, and skip the land in between. Kind of like how the US has Hawaii as a strategic point in the Pacific, you can have Edmonton as a strategic point in Canada. Kind of like an on-land island. :P Make it a municipality or something.

Who? The only factions even remotely close to you are the NCR and the Khans.

They sure as [censored] aren't going all the way up North to there in one bloody turn.

Edit: I see what you mean. You mean a new faction coming in.

Then just go south then this turn, and go North next turn. No-one's going to take that sliver of Alaska I'm sure.

That would be the most random thing I've ever seen. I mean, Edmonton isn't a really hot-topic piece of real-estate.

That's a pretty big take, still.

I am going with my compromised expansion. Its much more smaller than the other expansion proposals I made.

Its a large city, important to Alaska along with Prince Ruper, George, and Grande Prairies.

Sure, sure, Maybe Paladin enters back in or some noob wanting a faction and bam, Edmonton taken.

My proposal:

With the proviso that the expansion territory in Alaska is completely unsettled, just claimed.

Even though it's against what we all said? How much land is that exactly? There was barely any concession.

Yes... and? Why didn't you base your faction there then? or around it?

What makes you think Paladin wants in, or what want land there, just to spite you? And a noob? That's kind of off-putting to new people and we were all new once.

Fine, I'm not going to debate it any longer:

I changed up the borders a bit if you don't mind because it looks nicer map-wise. I believe Edmonton is still there.

I think that's the extent of it for now.

Andro, one little thing to add, could you add some Legion red onto the Panama Canol?

Is it joint ownership? I could do the striped line deal.

Yep, it is, that'd be perfect.

Also, I'm editing my timeline for one more bout of expansion, could you add that jagged piece of the Legion's border to its holdings? A diagonal slant from the jagged piece down to the northern border of the UEoA?
