Oh yes, I need to officially get rid of those Vertibirds that were in my FS. Instead the UMD will have a handful of AH-1 Cobra (HueyCobra).

As for the rest of the UMD airforce, it's simply militarized Pre-war cargo planes, pretty weak.

Well for the Hegemony figther I always thought of the F-4 Phantom as one of them. For recon aircraft, not sure, give me some ideas. For attack bomber, A-26 Invader and for Strategic Bombing......B-36?
There is no possible way anyone could fuel a B-36 comfortably.

I was thinking that they have had them for a good amount of time, so they could have made some blueprints then have several more "half-assed" vertibirds.
Vertibirds are pretty advanced machines designed for pretty skilled pilots, think of the maneouvers a pilot could do with those awesome tilt-wings. I couldn't imagine the NCR rebuilding them themselves... there's a reason after all that Van Buren was going to "remove" the Shi and their technology from the world :P. Even F3 establishes them as prototypes, I'd think a Huey Chopper would be more appropriate.

Yeah Fish, cargo planes seem acceptable and pretty useful. Certainly for my Caribbean operations.
