America Summit: New Corsham

Post » Wed Dec 19, 2012 5:04 pm

So it seems, War……….War never Changes. Throughout the course of history, nations rose to great heights and yet some fall. In a Post-Apocalyptic Earth, nations rised up from the ashes of Nuclear War. Yet who will survive in this hostile world? Nations in North America rised up from the ashes of Nuclear War. With infrastructure, militaries, research, and most of all different ideologies. From the cold isolated North of Canada to the great capital of America: Washington D.C, to the plains of the Midwest? To the swampy South to the West Coast. You will RP as one of the Nations in North America. Your choices will impact them, from whether prosperity to total annihilation, to expansion to the other parts of Earth. What shall happen is all up to you.

I Bosmight, I am the admin. Please abide to all of the rules.

1. War is acceptable but don't just declare war on the spot. Have gradually build up, then we will decide a outcome.

2. Do your best to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It’s easier to read and understand and makes everything look better. It’s also hard to take delegates seriously that don’t use it.

3. Give you representatives dynamic character and for your opening post, perhaps give us an idea of what they are wearing etc.

4. Respect everybody.

5. For the first 5 convention, will retain the post apocalytpic feel of Fallout. Onward we can start to expand to other parts of the world and start developing true advance technology.

6. If you are leaving please tell.

7. Dont be OP too much. You cant declare on the spot you have a advance Wave Force Cannon immediatley. It hasto build up through research and mentioning through posts.

8. When taking over countries on the other continents you may conquer 1 every 4 years.

Now other than that, I dont think I missed anyother rules. Have Fun.

New Corsham

New Corsham, Jamaica, capital of the Brytish Commonwealth’s Americka Colonies; despite its grandiose position however, pre-war Kingston remains rundown and filthy. Your delegation will arrive mid-afternoon at the New Corsham Airstrip to the south of the city from-which you shall be escorted to King’s House by Horse-drawn-stagecoach with an escort of mounted Brytish Dragoons.

The city itself, like its Brytish namesake, is covered in a layer of smog from the numerous forges, coal-engines and fires that exists beside residential slums; in the distance towering brick chimneys from the larger coal-power station spew smoke into the air and pollutants into the sea. The harbour itself is a hive of activity and likely a dozen large ships are likely present both Navy and Ministry of Supply vessels. Proles will line the streets, some in queues trying to cash in their ration coupons for rye-bread and soup, simply passed out in cannabis induced stupor in the streets or gathered around public loudspeakers and televisions to be fed “inspirational” statistics that have resulted from their 84-hour working week or football results from back home; they will likely heckle or yell jingoist phrases as the carriages go past. Grisly imagery of Brytish rule may also be visible on your carriage ride such as gallows, NCR, Caribbean, American and Panamaniam slaves whilst outside the city, numerous Caribbean natives nailed to saltires serve as warnings to remaining rebels whom hide out in the Blue Mountains.

King’s House itself is a very large colonial mansion surrounded by a forest of tents, radio equipment and blacksmiths forges; here a great many soldiers and horses will be present, you may even spot large, http://the.shadock.free.fr/Mark_IV.jpg, vehicles or strange,http://glostransporthistory.visit-gloucestershire.co.uk/images/AirHeli%20Belvedere.jpg tandem-rotor helicopters.

The room for the conference however will be a large room in the house itself were the décor will be antique and wooden (entirely dissimilar from pre-war Americana) aside from a few articles such as a post-war television mounted to the wall which will play Brytish anthems with footage of national rallies from back home; the room has more the air of a smoking or club room than a conference room and delegates are free to mingle as they-see-fit whilst being waited on by indentured proles from Marchment’s own family-line of servants, they will being you what you ask but not respond to requests of friendliness in-general.
