America summit OOC page 33

Post » Thu Mar 14, 2013 9:25 am

Few questions, what year would we be starting in?

Also for my Ohio population, does 700,000 seem fair? I'm also thinking of having the most powerful air force due to Wright Patterson so I can have something. :D They would also be medium-high tech, so basically a notch above the NCR.

I just dont like it how this next convention is turning out........ We didn't even get to Theia.

Can we just finish Solus at least?
Go post there, I mean they are waiting for you and you don't need approval to post.

That's a pretty good map, I like how this Summit/Convention is turning out already .

One small complaint though, more of a note. Is it just me or are the Commonwealth and Capital Union the same color???

As for population, seeing how my area is pretty population dense (Mexico City is the 4th largest city, afterall) and Mexico would have been targeted less than the USA (not though less, though) I think the Ymmur population should be pretty high,at be the highest again. Add to that the Ymmuri's war-harems, General disregard for sixual abstinence, multiple wives, and how they "pillage" greatly in their conquests I'd say it would have grown substantially since the war.

Plus I'm going to be moderately low-tech, and I believe it was mentioned that there's an "understanding" that higher tech factions have lower populations and vice versa.
Maybe your population should be smaller or of equal size with the NCR. Since my nation is essentially a large raider nation would anyone mind if my population is entirely military. With residents like the Legion.

I was wondering the same, how does 2300 sound again? Or perhaps a tad before? 2290?

Alright, so for a starting point, how big are we planning the New California Republic to be?

2290 sounds better to me. I'd like to keep it as possible to the end of New Vegas as possible.

Why shouldn't we have power armor? My power armor was just an improved version of T-45d and T-51b. We just added a stronger material and made it resistant to the cloud. They wouldn't be established for a long time, just a few years, no longer than a decade.

Because not everyone should have power armor and it isn't a necessity. I just don't see a reason for Sierra Madre to have it. I myself won't have Power Armor.

2290 sound about right, gives House and NCR time to get their stuff together. Are we going to be staying pretty strict to lore? I hope not, I don't want the Sierra Madre to be looted by a mailman.

If you'd rather, I'd like it to be sooner as well. Maybe 2285 or such? I'm fine with either, as Ninja said, gives time for everyone to get set if 2290.

I'd like to stay by lore for a long while but we should eventually get a little higher tech and all.

That's fine by me, but don't jack the numbers up.

I think the population numbers would go something like this (order not actual numbers, not counting foreigners either)

1. NCR
2. Ymmur
3. Midwestern Order
4. Confereacy
5. Montreal-Ottawa
6. Legion
7. Nevada
8. Texas
9. Ohio
10. Vancouver
11. Khans
12. Caribbean
13. Sierra Madre
14. Alaska
15. Capital Union
16. Brotherhood of Steel
17. North Canada
18. Enclave

We should stick as close to lore as possible. But6 should omit some things like Lonesome road and Broken Steel.

I think we should start in 2291, 10 years after New Vegas.

I can go for that.

We also need a new OOC. Wombat, someone, Enclave.

Sounds reasonable.

With that in mind, what about 1.6 million as the population for the FEZNV?

I also vote 2285. 2291 works too though.

Okay instead of just closing the current convention I think we should put it on hold for now, we can come back to it later.

Can I still have most of my people in the military? Privately owned businesses and such never really fit in, the replicators provided all the food we needed.

I think that may be a tad high if I'm limited to around 1.8. Unless I can bump my own population up to say 2.1 or 2.2

What did you have before like 800,000? Hm, maybe put it around like 1.25 million. The Legion will be slightly higher due to the split.
