Tsar Nikolai Hapsburg- Winnipeg Empire

"Hah socialists are no better than the communists who did this too us. I remember the Old World, I used to live and fight for Canada well until you guys annexed us but I think that was a smart move. I am glad you would be open to trade, so should we trade currency for supplies or barter supplies?"

Vice President Smith, Enclave of America

Smith chuckled. He liked this "Tsar" person. He thought a lot like him.

"I believe that's something we can all agree on. Scum like that was a pleasure to annihilate. Ah, the Annexation of Canada. Some did not like it, but it was a necessary evil that we had no choice but to commit. I'm glad you don't have any hard feelings for it, that will help with diplomatic relations quite considerably. Now, before we begin to discuss what we can give you, what exactly do you want from us? Or is this more of a general trade agreement? We'd also need to work out a route if we want anything permanent." Smith said.

Elder-Lord Henry Maxwell - The Midwestern Order

" Indeed, truly a grand gift. Ohio stood as a Socialist Republic, yes. Even if my Inquisitors had explained their failure, it would not matter in the least. Ohio lays dead, divided into spoils by far superior nations. The Order and the United States will make much more use of their resources than they could have hoped. A smooth victory, if I was to say. "

Clearing his throat, Maxwell shifted the topic onto another matter. " Mr. Markson, you wished to speak of something, yes? Trade, furthering relations perhaps? I believe the Order and the Republic could do many sorts of business. "

Tsar Nikolai Hapsburg- Winnipeg Empire

"I was curious of what you may have to offer me. Also, until we have a set route, I propose that I can send in a plane bearing cargo, unload it and reload it with what we accept is reasonable. I was also thinking of opening a trade alliance with the Midwestern Order so maybe they would let me pass through their lands into yours."

Wayne Markson, Republic of Sierra Madre

"Yes I would like to discuss further trade between us. We've recently acquired  a good deal of resources from our war with the Legion however there is one thing we would still like more of, Power Armor. Our army currently has roughly around 100 suits but we would welcome a chance to increase that number. I'd also like to increase our Air Force so any aircraft would also be welcome."

Sasha Bretas, Republic of Sierra Madre

While Wayne was talking with the Mid-Western Order, Sasha went to open talk with the United States.

" Hello Mr. President, my name is Sasha Bretas of the Republic of Sierra Madre. If you have a moment I'd like to discuss something with you."

"Hello, I am Councillor Simon Stone... You could say I'm kind of in charge of the Winnipeg Empire, but most of the time the Tsar is the official leader but I can still be talked to for my nation. So what might you wish to discuss?"

Vice President Smith, Enclave of America

The Vice President's smile turned into a rather stern gaze.

"Well, I suppose that all depends on what you want. We have a lot of things since our recent destruction of Ohio, including a large amount of steel and other things. Our weapons of course, are top notch as well. Though the commissioned weaponry is not for sale for obvious reasons. Even still the weapons that are available are far above that of the majority of the rest of the world, and are brand new to boot. You may pay quite a bit for them, but then again, your paying for top of the line quality. The old saying you get what you pay for has never been truer than with our weapons. But we have other things for sale to, such as robotics, and well, anything technologically advanced you can think of."

President Steel, Enclave of America

From his talks with Mahala, Steele looked over to a woman from the Sierra Madre who asked to speak with him.

"But of course. Tell me, what is it you require of me Miss Bretas?"

Tsar Nikolai Hapsburg- Winnipeg Empire

"Ah as much as I appreciate the offer of steel, we already have a plethora of that supply. However, I have heard rumors of a weapon that melts your enemies into green goo... I believe it is called Plasma Weaponry... I would like to know more about it and see what it would take to acquire some of these weapons. My nation can offer you iron, coal, lumber, and just for you I could offer you humvees... I'm pretty sure you know what those are, being that you guys are America... The great thing is that the LMG on top can be replaced with any heavy weapon you want to put on it..."

" Well Mr. President, I've come to ask you if there are any vertibirds or power armor that you'd be interested in trading for. I've read over the terms of the NASC and we might have a few tidbits of technology that you might find extremely useful. The Power Armor doesn't have to be the newest models, nothing classified of course. However for the vertibirds I'd like to get something rather advanced, deploying helicopters from our airships has been too much of a hassle and we think a VTOL might suit our needs perfectly."

Elder-Lord Henry Maxwell - The Midwestern Order

" Hmm, I see. The Power Armor situation could easily be remedied, though I am wary of trading more of it off. Too many units rest in unfit hands already. " Maxwell curled inwardly, thinking of the various grimy savages covering such wondrous technology in their filthy waste. It did help the Madre, in that they seemed more fit than the others.

" Though, there may be something that could entice the armor away. I'd rather like to discuss it more privately. As to aircraft, what my people have gained from Ohio's conquest has been the greatest leap in our air-force for centuries, we are much more suited for the skies. Still, that cannot be lost, I'm afraid Mr. Markson, that we do not have craft to spare. "

Vice President Smith, Enclave of America

The Vice President shook his head.

"It pains me to say this, but plasma weaponry falls into that category of "classified". It's still commissioned by our regular forces, so I can't authorize trade for it. Ask in a few years when our scientists whip up a better version, and I may be able to work something out for the old ones. However, we do have laser weaponry we can trade for it. If your interested in turning people into something else, laser weapons are great for that as well. Except instead of goo, you get smoldering ash. Just as satisfying I assure you."

President Steel, Enclave of America

The President had an odd feeling well up in the pit of his stomach. He shook his head slightly.

"Before I say anything else, the Vertibirds are an absolute no-go, so there is nothing I am willing to trade for the schematics to one. You are correct, they are far better for such things than helicopters are. In fact, their far better than helicopters in all senses. It's for that very reason I cannot trade them for anything. I hope you understand. The armor however, I may be able to help you, though it's not going to be cheap. The armor I can offer you is the T-51b model, far superior in every way to the old T-45d. What have you to offer for those?"

"I understand. As for that deal with the Power Armor lead on."

Sasha Bretas, Republic of Sierra Madre

"I have been authorized to offer you a bit of our replication technology. However, I was planning on laying that on the table for a vertibird and trading something else for the Power Armor. Anyway, for the Power Armor we could offer you some raw materials but your recent acquisition of Pittsburg pretty much neutralizes that option. So what would you want for them?"

Peter sat down and folded his hands in front of him.

"I would like to start opening relations with the Winnipeg empire. As you know,my nation is based upon the purity of the human race. Therefore we see the mutants in our nation as a problem that needs to be dealt with.. We have taken to putting them into camps, but with the arrival of your nation to these talks,I have a final solution to the problem.

As I understand you are more open to mutants,so we are willing to gift you,all of our mutant population in the nation. This will significantly boost your population and we will also send you massive shipments of food, building materials, weaponry, and precious metals. In return we only ask one thing. All land between the Ontario Military Empire and the Winnipeg Empire be under our possession. In other words, you will allow us to colonize the land east of you."

"While the replicators are indeed something I'm interested in, I'm afraid trading the Vertibirds at this point will simply not happen. They're a national secret, and the political backlash I would receive for trading the for anything would be monuments. It simply cannot be done. Indeed though, with Pittsburgh, we have a lot of resources to draw from now. As for what we'd like for the armor, would the non-mobile hologram sentries be out of the question? We'd have use of those."

Elder-Lord Henry Maxwell - The Midwestern Order

The Elder-Lord nodded and motioned toward one of the small, circular table-booths. Sitting down, his luxurious white robes enveloping him, Maxwell began the dealings in earnest. " You see Mr. Markson, you may have something my Order would very much enjoy. Data from the Midwestern archives points to one material truly suited for the latest, grandest undertaking of my Scribes in quite the long while. That metal, that material is Saturnite. Documents point to something of that name or something similar being developed shortly before the End and with some deduction, reason leads me to believe you may just have what I need. Would you be willing to trade it, for Power Armor? "

Sasha Bretas, Republic of Sierra Madre

"Sadly they would. There sort of like your vertibirds, we'd like to keep them "in the family" so to speak."

Wayne Markson, Republic of Sierra Madre

At the mention of Saturnite Wayne burst out laughing.

"I'm sorry, you'll have to forgive me for that. We do have Saturnite, whole warehouses of it actually, but unless you plan to start a cooking show they won't be of any use to you. For you see our Saturnite is in the form of....... kitchen knives. Although to give them credit they can cut steak like it was butter. But back on topic, we've had most of the knives melted down and can trade some you some Saturnite."

Elder-Lord Henry Maxwell - The Midwestern Order

At Wayne's laughter, Maxwell's mood soured a deal, though his face remained normal, he was none too pleased with the uproarious chortling. That would stick in the Elder-Lord's craw, though he didn't intend it surely, Maxwell felt Markson had laughed at the Order and himself, not at the irony.

" Indeed, I'd appreciate keeping that sort of thing down, next time. I do not mind, if you can provide Saturnite, in its metallic form, to be bent and molded into other forms, you will have what you seek. What I need, is extremely large amounts of it, so ask what you may, I'm sure a deal can be reached. "

The President smiled and nodded.

"That I can understand. Well, tell you what, lets try this then. I've heard rumors of a rusty red smog that covered the Sierra Madre at one point. If what I've heard is true, I believe it could be weaponized to create a tool of great effect. If you'd like, I'll trade you a number of suits in exchange for a few samples of this smog, as well as research you may be in possession of. Specifically what is needed to reproduce it."

Northern Canadian Union- Sir John M. Alexander

*John felt he had sat around long enough, and decided he might as well act*

Hmm. There is a new Canadian nation it seems. Though he looks busy, and so does the Ottawa leader.

*He noticed the Alaskan president was not busy at the moment, so he decided to approach and speak to him*

"Hello President Oaks, it's been a while since we have last seen each other. How have you and your people been doing this past year?"

Tsar Nikolai Hapsburg- Winnipeg Empire

"Ah completely understandable sir... When you have the higher tech models, tell me and I will buy some of the lower tech ones from you... Laser weaponry can satisfy my needs for now, so thank you very much sir. In three months we will have your shipment ready and we will send you a cargo plane..."

Nikolai shook Smith's hand and sat back at his table next to Councilor Dice and waited for anyone to talk to the two. He also saw Councilor Stone speaking to a delegate.

Councilor Simon Stone (Human)- Winnipeg Empire

"I am willing to accept these terms under one condition... I seek a DMZ that stretches sixty miles east... None of my citizens or soldiers will be in there and your citizens may go there but I don't want a full military zone there. However, a police force or security force is allowed. You are allowed all supplies you gather in the DMZ and it will be part of your nation... I just want a safe zone between our two empires... Do you agree sir?"

Republic Lands - November

News has just come out from Aetheria that Richard Reinhardt, a former member of the Western Brotherhood has died just now in Hyperion Medical Center. Doctors reported that Reinhardt struggled on to survive and was lamenting that the Western Brotherhood was wiped out existence from the war in the North. He argued the Republic should have helped a friend from elimination though the Republic was more focused on its war with the Legion. He was a staunch supporter of the Republic and Brotherhood merging together believing that the technological prowess of the Brotherhood and the Manufacturing capabilities of California would usher in a new world technological renaissance in the future and lead Humanity to a much more accelerated path.

Reinhardt planned a trip to try to meet with Premier Lockheart of the Brotherhood after many years of isolation from his family. Reinhardt who was in ill-condition insisted on going and by Air headed out to the Vegas Territorial Enclave. In Brotherhood territory, Reinhardt was ready to meet Lockheart but war erupted and immediately evacuated by Air landing in Seleneia Airport.

Reinhardt on 2261 left the Brotherhood of Steel remarking them from his book, the Lost Way as defilers of codex, and the true purpose of the Brotherhood. With several disillusioned comrades just like him created up a chapter up in the North known as the True Brotherhood. Reinhardt did have several differences such as allowing outsiders to join but also reintroducing technology beneficial to the wasteland but keeping dangerous technology outside from the reach of bad individuals. California Ranger squad, Eagle under command of John Hanlon around 61 would meet Reinhardt in the Sierra Nevada’s while doing scouting missions on the Brotherhood, encountering the True Brotherhood. Hanlon would speak with Reinhardt and look upon to his idea of Techno-Progressivism.

Though the True BOS was short lived when the originals attacked them on ’66 in there town, Seleneia wiping most of them out but several escaped, taking refuge in SoCal… They would contribute to the idea of Techno-Progressivism and the idea of the Brotherhood and the Republic to merge together. Though the idea never sprouted as the war between the Bear and Steel become not a war over technology but a war of pure mutual hatred. His honorable Hanlon…may he rest in peace argued for the Brotherhood and the Republic to settle its differences and merge together for a better future for the wastes. It has only been until now that politicians and professors of the Republic have been looking upon to this idea…

Yet with the Brotherhood gone, the dream of the Brotherhood and the Republic merging but the idea of Techno-Progressivism lives. On 2292, the Medical technology gained from Vegas was widely distributed throughout the NCR for the benfit of the people. This has raised the life expectancy of the NCR citizen.

Richard Reinhardt will be buried near his people’s home, Lost Hills. The Reinhardt Family will be holding a private funeral tomorrow afternoon. Richards Reinhardt’s last words were; To the Knights and Paladins that fell in our struggle for our existence up in the North, for how the Brotherhood changed from the years Maxson founded us on November 2077, you have fought well despite all circumstances.  Time shall remember us… The people of California. The inhabitants of the North. The Eastern Sect and the Midwestern Sect. The father may die but his sons shall live… Rest in peace…

Recently right now coming from Descutes is that about hundred in numbering from the Brotherhood civilians and Soldiers have arrived in its capital of Madras. From a Paladin, after they crossed the Northern Independent Zone that separates Vancouver and the Syndicate, they arrived here on the NCR border but to be apprehended by California Guardsman. These Brotherhood refuges are seeking refuge in the NCR to begin…again…

NCR Soldiers start to pull out of the Legion lands after a long sweep and clean operation of Legion stragglers. With the Legion peoples, defecting to the NCR, Khans, or Madre, the Legion hardliners are small and are expected to be defeated shortly. We talked to Major General Cole Westin, commander of the 9th Armored Division and said The guy's and gals out here are jubilant with the Legion defeated. Not only that, fifty-percent of the soldiers fought in the Mojave Campaign. Cole Westin is expected back home for a hero's welcome.

That is all for tonight folks. This is Sierra Nevada Radio signing off with our last song for today, Maybe by the Ink Spots…

Maybe you'll think of me when you are all alone.

Maybe the one who is waiting for you.

Will prove untrue, then what will you do?

Maybe you'll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near.

Then maybe you'll ask me to come back again.

And maybe I'll say "Maybe".

Maybe you'll think of me when you are all alone.

Maybe the one who is waiting for you.

Will prove untrue, then what will I do?

Maybe you'll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near.

Then maybe you'll ask me to come back again.

And maybe I'll say "Maybe".

"That we can do. I'm just wondering about the exchange rate here, I'm thinking a crate of Saturnite for every 10 suits? The crates are rather big mind you, standard shipping size."

Sasha Bretas, Republic of Sierra Madre

"I'm sorry but I can't do that either. It's one of our upper tier military technologies and as such isn't exactly up for trade."

Good day," Oaks replied. It's good to see you too. We're doing good, from the look of it, the railroad between our nations be completed sometime this year."

"I look forward to it," he continued. "This railway should help immensely in establishing trade between both our nations and others."
