American Conference: Interest Thread

I have sort of shifted into the thought that there won't be much expansion done by my Imperium and Mr. Enclave said he may have had to change his territory a bit so I edited my own instead. Plus, it'd be a sparse smattering of population if only one million people lived in that large space.

I think Aldin's own nation has to be edited onto the most recent map, as does the Enclave Empire, and Fish's own, perhaps a few others.

What the good Fishmaster says is true, I described my own flag as well. It's no big deal.

Alright I've made changes to mine. Now how would it be added to the list?

(BTW, Anything else that needs to be changed?)

Ah yes, I'll get the exact details on my occupied territory before long, certainly before my FS gets turned in, as I would rather be on the map as soon as possible to eliminate any possible confusion.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to add a bit about their culture, so we can get a feel of what life is like for them.

Once Andro logs on, he'll like add it to the list.

It looks fine, some more detail could be asked, but I'm a stickler for that type of thing. Looks fine to me.

I'd like to see how close your nation is, just to gauge the information that the Imperium could glean.

Also, I realize we're going for larger populations and such but I do feel, even being in the most advanced tier, that I am extremely outnumbered and at a disadvantage should war come.

Slight problem with the location of your faction Alec. Your territory would place you pretty much smack dab within the Enclave's and my own borders.

We're kinda crowded in together enough as it is.

It does seem like it's a bit overwhelming.

For me it's a bit different, since I have a good number of androids to balance out my population (Which is only like 700,000) But I understand the sentiment nevertheless.

This as well, I overlooked the placement. We are really jammed together in the east, but we could really use some west coast nations.

No problem I'll switch mine to some place else. Any ideas?

To be clear, when do these conventions take place after the events of Fallout 3? New Vegas?

As for your nation Alec, perhaps you can take residence more inland, or near the Carolinas.

_______________

How many people are playing this convention?

Casey
Aldin
Lone
Alec
Fisheye (?)
Enclave

Somewhere west coast perhaps. Or maybe north into Canada.

Also, is there a particular reason why the Sierra Madre is in Texas?

By the way, here is a map of the Centrale. The North part of Yucatan will be Fish factions.

I consider it canon. Probably because I've spent so much time on the Elder Scrolls Lore Forum. Some previously alluded 50's styled aliens are nothing next to the sanity-bending weirdness that the TES community (myself included) pretty much unanimously considers canon. Or they would, if they hadn't disowned the term "canon".

Yeah, I suppose given all the stuff in TES, aliens really aren't all that weird :P However, when we're talking Fallout, which doesn't normally have things of that nature, aliens don't really... fit.

Plus, it really would screw with things if someone got ahold of that death ray :P

Anyway, does anyone know where we're going to have this thing take place? Last time it was Solus, but I don't really want to host the first one again.

I would suggest starting with bosmight's nation. He hasn't hosted a convention in awhile and we haven't been down to the Mexico area recently either.

Unless he doesn't want to of course.

I would support that. He was my next choice for hosting anyway, so it makes sense.

If he wants to of course.

I'll go ahead and second this, since he very much wanted to host last series.

Also, I forgot that Crimson is with us as the Midwest, so we'll need to add the Midwest to the map and see where it'll play out. Vault Ninja is playing as well with his Ohio-Michianavania faction. Seems the Great Lakes region will be more lively this go around.
