I know there is a Russian group of people that do fallout larping, but is there a group in the US? It's nerdy as all hell, but looks like it would be damn fun to do at the same time.

I am sure you already know what it means but it isn't a word it is an acronym. Live Action Role Play, but we all knew that.

I agree thought it would be odd to Larp Fallout. Unless they can get their hands on an abandoned neighbourhood. Also Fallout has alot of guns and how you larp that? "Bang I got you" "No you didn't you missed me!" Maybe paintball?

I actually had to look it up again because I thought it was a word and I was wondering what is a "larp". I thought it was a slug or something.

The only thing I can think of to larp Fallout with is Airsoft Guns. Paint ball, however better they may me, don't usually come in gun designs. Where as airsoft has pistols, assault rifles, LMGs, rocket launchers, grenades, even tanks.

Or we could strap bullet proof vests on people, grab some real guns and hope that everyone isn't out for headshots. - Unlikely.

I didn't know what larp was either, so I put Russian Fallout Larp into google. I didn't even have a guess when I first saw it.

To be extra awesome, they could use nerf guns then cut them up and design them as Fallout guns. Way to detect sarcasm :thumbsup: Anyways you can do something to them to make them more powerful, but I forget what it is. I think it is as powerful as a weak airsoft gun. I remember I did it a few years back, shot my brother with it, and it left little red marks where it hit.

I bet you could LARP Fallout pretty good, probably with paintball guns or airsoft, and of course without the brotherhood and enclave because it would just look very silly like those russians. You just find some abandoned industrial area (which there is an ambundance of in eastern europe, apparently) and LARP away. I bet doing NCR would be kind of cool and not too hard to sew costumes (just a WW1 costume!)

I have a WW2 German Helmet and it goes well with my friends gas mask. Now all I need is a trench coat. I don't think people would be happy if I dressed like that and walked down the street with an M1 Garand though :sadvaultboy:

My friend has a M1 Garand that he inherited from his great grandfather, I think it was his great grandfather. I want it.

My grandfather has a revolver from his grandfather with a couple of notches on it.

Actually, one of my grandfather's neighbors, found what I believe was an 1873 model Winchester rifle, sticking out of the field while he was farming. The barrel was eroded away or cut or something, very weathered.

I guess that was some unfortunate cowboy, or criminal then.

I was just gonna use my real rifles....
