Alright, so the trade for Santonio Holmes is a decent trade, Mike Wallace was pretty solid and Hines Ward is a beast still. The Steelers franchise is full of drama so I would say their success next year will be limited with or without Holmes. The Jets are going to be a really good team, and I'm glad Dallas doesn't play them. It is disgusting to look at their roster and see all the big name player that they signed this season. They will have the number 1 Defense and they will have a top 10 Offense. I'm rooting for the Jets this year as my AFC team. It all falls on the right arm of Mark Sanchez. Last season it may have been a fluke they got to the playoffs, see the Colts game, but they will earn there spot this year.

I know lol.... I'm just saying. I think it's idiotic that our team here wants to trade away their best player. Our new coach doesn't like talent, apparently.

No offense I wanted them to fail last year just because of the Cutler trade.

I hate my life.....

Why? Why does our new coach deem it necessary that we ship all of our TALENT away?

As far as I'm concerned, you don't win [censored] championships by having "Team Chemistry".

I'm going to be bad next season, I'm not going to root for my home team in any game. They deserve to lose every game because of that idiotic coach McDaniels. :stare:

SO ANGRY!!!

Well the Jets keep getting more stacked by the day. They picked up Jason Taylor ,as if the D was not strong enough.

Some other things
Eagles got LB Ernie Sims in 3 way deal that sent TE Scheffler from Broncos to Lions.
Steelers got Leftwich for a 7th round pick.
Pats Signed Torry Holt
McNabb appently wants T.O. in D.C.
Haynesworth might be on the move as well

Jason Taylor is too old to be a force anymore.

Seeing the Lions give up Simms makes no sense to me. I never understood why teams were so willing to trade a guy who was a high pick and has performed well only for a lesser pick.

Leftwich is not worth a 7th, even if Ben gets suspended for a few games Dixon is a far better player.

Good move, Holt on a good team will be a force and I hope his final years are productive. It is rare to see a wide receiver be so productive and yet not have a single run in with the law.

McNabb will be getting his ass sacked too much for it to make a difference.

Haynesworth is a [censored].

Jason Taylor is not too old to be a force.Last year he had 7 sacks when he was a hug focus of the protection. With the Jets the Focus cant be all on him.I think he can get the same numbers or even better.

Well the Lions organization is just plain stupid.Grant it Sims has not been the predicted Probowler but that was on a terrible team.

Well Leftwich was there 2 years ago and even if Dixon is the starter or if and when Ben gets suspended they need a backup.7th round is not overpriced at all.

I think he will play solid but Wrs are not really what they need.

I love how eveyone is saying Mcnabb is going to die with the Skins.Yea the have a bad O-Line but the season does not start for 5 months. They have the 4th pick and will probably trade Campbell and maybe Haynesworth. The whole organization knows that they need O-line and they wont just let it be.

He did exactly what I thought he would nothing.Typical of Snyder to over spend.

Looking at my Skins Schedule and its pretty tough.

:lmao: Big Ben got suspended for 6 games.Think that is a little much but I guess he can get it reduced like Vick. Now they want to trade him?Even if he ends up suspended for 6 games thats just plain dumb.Qb's are not a dime a dozen and Ben has led them to two Super Bowl victories in his young career.

The Steelers are a joke. Worthlisberger is an idiot, he puts himself in the position to screw up and doesn't learn from his mistake, but hey, Stallworth killed a person and he's back within 2 years.... So many football players take advantage of their situation when they should be giving back to their fans instead of making themselves look like idiots...

Yeah, I was surprise it was that much, but they said that it couldn't go any lower then 4 games and I was only suspecting 4 games and 3 on good behavior. Apparently there was something in the police report that the commissioner read that wasn't release to the public that got him pretty upset.

I don't like the Steelers, but they aren't a joke, there a very proud franchise and Ben is damaging the image of the Steelers, but that don't make the Steelers a joke. Stallworth didn't kill someone one purpose, he was drunk and in a accident, that doesn't mean it OK but he isn't just a common street thug and he doesn't deserve to be treated like one.

On a side note, I hope McNabb tears the Eagles a new one.
Oh also, RedSkins should trade the Ravens for Gaither (a OL)

They can can be as proud as they want to be, but what it comes down to is the team lacks discipline. When you have multiple players on your roster that are in trouble with the law that is a bad thing. I believe that they are being too loose with their players and Mike Tomlin seems more like a friend instead of a mentor. Don't get me wrong he is a good coach scheme wise, but after he's more buddy buddy with his players. The owners know that there is issues, hence the reason they got rid of Holmes and Rothelisberger trade talks are heating up. I consider the Steelers a joke because they will most likely have Byron Leftwich starting for them with an aging Hines Ward and Mike Wallace as their starting WR and a mediocre running game. They only thing they have on their team is their Defense....

Anybody that is driving drunk and hits and kills a pedestrian should not be allowed to play in the NFL imo. If he was sober and the pedestrian ran out in front of his car that is a different story. I don't think he is a thug a street thug but he killed somebody, went to jail for 24 days, and was reinstated after a single season suspension. He was speeding and only flashed his lights to try to get the person's attention. How do you only go to jail for 24 days after you hit somebody with your car without a reasonable attempt and stopping yet Michael Vick goes to jail for 21 months on charges that he may not have been involved in, but since it was at his residence he is guilty? Cruelty to animals is bad, don't get me wrong, but the only thing Vick was guilty of was owning that house. I just don't understand that logic.

NFL draft is tonight...as a Bucs fan, I'm ready for the worst.
I expect Detroit to snag Suh right before us...man I really hate Detroit. They took Calvin Johnson right before us a few years ago, and left us to get Gaines Adams, who was a bust, then got traded to the Bears before he tragically died of a heart problem. But still, I expect Detroit to ruin our draft again, unless somehow our management decides to trade up, but I lost faith in them a long time ago, so I would be shocked if it happens.

I will probably only watch the Redskins pick as my Flyers play tonight.I hope the go O-line but some "experts" say they might still go QB becuse of the great depth at O-Line.ANother thing I heard is they will go O-line with the 4th pick but then trade up to get McCoy.

people with special talent get special treatment, you don't like and I don't like but thats the way it is. I don't like what Stallworth did but at least is was a accident and from what I understand Vick admented to what he did and even a wittness came and made a plea bargain to tell them what Vick did and get less time. And that wasn't his only problem off field.

I agree and realize Vick had other problems off the field I'm just saying in my opinion killing somebody is worse than killing animals. 21 months compared to 24 days, accident or not it just seems unbalanced.

I haven't watched the draft yet. Saw the first few selections on nfl.com but I'm going home to watch the first round. I get to fast forward through all the bull crap.

Dez Bryant? Really? I'm shocked, really. We got depth at Wideout. I love it. I knew they were going to do something big but this was more than I thought. I'm one happy Cowboy fan. We got the best wide receiver in the draft imo. :D

My Niners picked up two O-linemen. I'm happy. Probably gonna get a CB in the 2nd round.

Denver kinda confused me. And Oakland took a LB? The Jets officially have the best secondary (if not the best defense) out there.

The Ravens trading away that first round pick with some good talent on the board was an iffy move, in my opinion. Who knows, they got two extra picks out of it.

Overall, a good first round. Will probably just listen to it tomorrow night. No need to watch it.

Well you can be happy Denver wants a team with no knuckle heads.

The two O-linemen was a good move.Gives Gore a bit more help(as if he needed it) and really help Smith out.As for the Broncos I saw what they were going for.I have a feeling Tebow is going to shock everyone in a year or two and they gave him a good receiver to work with.

My Titans passed on Dez Bryant to take another freaking Defensive Lineman. God, I hate Jeff Fisher so much. I don't know what blackmail he has on Bud Adams to have kept his job this long, but he is horrible. Apparently averaging 9 wins a season and losing a Super Bowl ten years ago qualifies you for being the longest active tenured head coach in the NFL these days. Every year, Fisher builds the same 8-8 team, no wonder every player they have worth a damn bolts as soon as they hit free agency. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. They should have fired him 10 years ago, I was so happy when they went 0-6 last year, I just knew he was out at the end of the season, but once again, I'm forced to sit through another year of mediocrity and the same offense that he ran when Eddie George was a rookie.

In case I didn't make myself clear: I HATE JEFF FISHER. HE IS THE WORST COACH IN THE NFL. Please God, let Bud Adams' finally sober up enough to realize how badly he svcks and fire his ass. Please?
