Jason Campbell was certainly no slouch, that's what I don't understand. He did better then Carson Palmer last year. Garrard. Smith. Ryan. Young. Cutler. Henne. Hasslebeck. Cassel. Sanchez. All returning starters. His rating was only 6.5 behind McNabb last year, with much less talent around him. He's younger.
They better get at least a 3rd and 5th round pick for him, if they do trade him. If they don't and keep him as a backup, then they're crazy smart. McNabb will be down by the 6th week with at least a minor injury.
Campbell has yet to sign his RFA tender, meaning he will be gone sooner rather than later, plus they've got Rex Grossman as the backup. I see this as beneficial for only the Redskins. McNabb is going to eat them in the two games they play. What defense did McNabb practice against? A similar one the Ea-gals will start next year. The Redskins don't need to draft a QB at 4 now so that means Clausen will drop. Very interesting move indeed.
I'm not too worried, Dallas can beat McNabb, see the last two games the the eagles played last year... I was at the first. Kolb/Vick... hmmm... Kolb was good because he got to study under McNabb, once there is more film on him, it's over.
My prediction for the NFC East
Dallas 12-4
Giants 10-6
Redskins 9-7
Eagles 4-12
