A lot of people say the Colts should pick him up... although, I am not too sure about that.

Jets signed Cromartie from the Chargers.

why would the colts want him? Maybe as a TE, if he would play as a TE the Ravens and a few others team might even want him. I don't think Tebow is that good but I don't think he should he un-good enough to play secondary. Like with troy Smith who plays for the Ravens, I think he could be decent as a starter QB somewhere else but at the same time Baltimore still uses him for odd plays http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga7zzUnNW0Q&feature=related but Colts don't seem to do that kind of stuff.
Where have you been? They had one of the biggest acquisitions of the off=season.Cromartie has given them a huge boost in their already great D. They have also been rumored in getting a WR such as Brandon Marshall and getting rid of that bum Braylon Edwards.

Asleep all day :P this is the first I've heard of it :)

Most people said that having him under the guidance of Peyton Manning would be great for him.

Well I think anybody would be better than Painter as your backup. Plus you have Jim Sorgi and I know him from his college days at Wisconsin, he wasn't bad but not pro material. I'm surprised he's lasted longer than Brooks Bollinger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOZHS478A5E&feature=related

Yea, I just read that Sorgi signed with Eli, was gonna come correct myself but you beat me to the punch.

As for Painter, I don't blame you.

Owens in a Bengals uniform? Its looking like it more and more every second I watch NFL Network. I think that's a great place for him to finish his career. I think the Bengals could improve a lot with him offensively and they need it because Palmer just seemed out of sync at the end of the season and in the playoffs. Maybe add a few defensive players and they're set. They won their division this past year, I'm looking to see them go further into the playoffs this year.

I thought for sure they were going to this past season, but now that you say that, I feel kind of greedy asking for a 6th. ^_^

Well, since football happens in phases, once the Colts start going down, it will be a long time. We have Peyton Manning. We need to get them now or never.

Or as you mentioned before, get Tebow and get him coached up under Peyton. Well it doesn't have to be Tebow but it should be anybody that has a last name that is not: PAINTER

I bet they put him into hiding. Being in Indy during those few days after was like being in Salem, Massachusetts. :P

Welcome to D.C. Mr McNabb!!! Whiny Eagles fans finally got what they want,They got rid of one of the best things ever to happen to that team. Why not try to improve what needs to be improved with the D or O line.Kolb is not a better QB so really they only got worse for next season.

What I don't understand is why the Eagles traded Donovan Mcnabb to team in the same division they are in, now Mcnabb gets two NFL games to prove to the Eagles how great of a decision they made.

"I'm bummed out" said Ed Rendell. What a dumb move I honestly hope they have a terrible season. Now my Skins need to get a good WR or two to help him out and they could have a chance at the wild card. They have the 4th overall pick and most likely will trade Jason Campbell.

Since Mcnabb started for the Eagles only the Colts and Pats have won more games.Philly fans love to drive they're big players out of town like Barkley Iverson and Lindros.I never really hated the Eagles even as a Skins fan and even liked McNabb but now I hope the fail miserably and end up a laughing stock.

Let's see here...

Pros:
Skins get a veteran QB.

Cons:
-lose high 2nd round draft pick
-inherit 33 year old QB with a contract that expires next year

Does the skins management really think McNabb will survive the season behind that horrendous O-Line with limited offensive talent around him? I feel like half the NFC East has been taking crazy pills. Both teams lose talent.

They have the 4th overall pick and a fair amount of cap space.Plus the can trade away Campbell for draft pick as well. One of the big problems with their line was Chris Samuel and Randy Evans being hurt through out the season.Sure he could still use some WRs but they have two very good receiving TEs in Chris Cooley and Fred Davis. Also don't forget about Santana Moss who had a 10 TD season two years ago and is a great deep threat. They also have two decent young receivers in Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly who could certainly benefit from good QB.Also don't forget about their new coach who certainly knows a thing or two.

They still have plenty of work to do but by no means have they got worse from this trade.

Jason Campbell was certainly no slouch, that's what I don't understand. He did better then Carson Palmer last year. Garrard. Smith. Ryan. Young. Cutler. Henne. Hasslebeck. Cassel. Sanchez. All returning starters. His rating was only 6.5 behind McNabb last year, with much less talent around him. He's younger.

They better get at least a 3rd and 5th round pick for him, if they do trade him. If they don't and keep him as a backup, then they're crazy smart. McNabb will be down by the 6th week with at least a minor injury.

Campbell has yet to sign his RFA tender, meaning he will be gone sooner rather than later, plus they've got Rex Grossman as the backup. I see this as beneficial for only the Redskins. McNabb is going to eat them in the two games they play. What defense did McNabb practice against? A similar one the Ea-gals will start next year. The Redskins don't need to draft a QB at 4 now so that means Clausen will drop. Very interesting move indeed.

I'm not too worried, Dallas can beat McNabb, see the last two games the the eagles played last year... I was at the first. Kolb/Vick... hmmm... Kolb was good because he got to study under McNabb, once there is more film on him, it's over.

My prediction for the NFC East

Dallas 12-4
Giants 10-6
Redskins 9-7
Eagles 4-12

SNIP

Well you forgot his 15 interceptions. His stats were deceiving besides that one.Watching him play he looks lost. Many of his picks were awful throws that went to a wide open defender. He also fumbled the ball a great deal even though only 3 were lost.Sure his line was not exactly great but niether was he.I can't forgot what he did last year.He went 3 yards past the line of scrimmage and threw the ball.If this were a Madden game his awareness stat would be 0.

McNabb is undeniable the better QB and while Jason Campbell was not all that good they can certainly get a 3rd round pick for him from a desperate enough team. That means an early 3rd round pick most likely.

At back up yes they have Rex Grossman who well is not all that great but at least he has plenty of experience and a good QB coach.

Dallas 12-4
Giants 10-6
Redskins 9-7
Eagles 4-12

I think that is about right.

So another shocking trade.

Santonio Homles is sent to the Jets for a 5th round pick. They must of really wanted to get rid of him.For the Jets thats really good news even if he is suspended the first four games. They really look like the team to beat in the AFC East now.

Maybe this means the Skins will be able to get Brandon Marshall

Wellthey did place a 1st round tender on him though I doubt they will trade away the 4th pick for him.

I know lol.... I'm just saying. I think it's idiotic that our team here wants to trade away their best player. Our new coach doesn't like talent, apparently.
