Patriarch William Traven

The hour was growing late, and several hours of productive discussion between delegates had flown by. The first international convention since before the Great War seemed to have been a success, and the Patriarch was pleased with the level of dialogue he had been able to encourage and give a a platform to.

When a lull in the discussion occurred, Traven stood up and called for a moment of quiet,

"Thank you all for attending this momentous event. I dearly hope that the agreements and alliances which have been forged hear today were in the interest of peace and continental unity. I'm afraid the hour is growing late however, and I must retire," and he stepped away from the table, followed closely behind by his Honor guardsmen, "You may remain here for as long as you wish to finish your conversations, and you are welcome to stay in our city for several more days if you wish. The Ecumene is happy to receive you."

"Good day to all," he said, and exited the room, the doors closing behind him.

Scorch- Adamas

"Would you perhaps offer machines for refining lasers and pulses? As well as some basic machinery?"

Scorch thought on this for a moment. The machinery, while likely fine, was one thing. But why would a group like the Legion be interested in pulses and lasers? Scorch wasn't even aware the Legion was interested in energy-based weaponry. From the stories McNamara had told him, they were against that sort of thing.

"Refining lasers and pulses? Our weapons smiths use such things to make various energy weapons, so I suppose the answer to that would be yes. Though such things would be considered military tech, so I'm afraid procuring such things will be very difficult to procure, if not impossible. The people would get nervous if we started trading weapons tech with people we barely know. However, should the ties between us increase over time, I bet conditions and temperaments would be much more favorable to you, and we could trade. That'll take time though. Building up trust and all that."

"And as for the basic machinery," Scorch continued, "That all depends on what you're wanting. That's a rather broad topic, you see. What exactly are you wanting here?"
