Amiel Septim

As I was re-reading The World Queen, I came across a curious case of missing person: namely one Amiel Septim, son of Uriel II, brother of Pelagius II, uncle of Potema and Antiochus.

All that is mentioned of him is that he was meeting the Archmage in Firsthold of the Summerset Isles during his father's reign. That's it.

I'm assuming he was a sorcerer of some sort, which would lead me to believe that his age could certainly have been elongated in some shape or form. Yet, when his father dies, it is his brother, Pelagius II, that is crowned.

Anyone know what the deal is? Did he die? Did he give up his position?

What happened to Amiel?

Nobody knows. There's been speculation for a long time that a distant branch of the Septim bloodline survived in some way, shape or form but new lore in Skyrim sort of stomps on that, calling the Dovahkiin the Last Dragonborn.

That doesn't mean anything Septims were not Dragonborn they were Dragonblood.
