Ammo modding?

Ok I have to ask as this was one of my favorit aspects of new vegas, the ability to craft and load special rounds for the guns. does any one see this returning on fallout 4? Or will it be forever one of the things that was fun to do in new vegas?

I like to hope that it will return with the customizations of the game, cause imagine this.

standard rounds:

mod points

calliber: what size round

primmer: (ignition power?)

powder: "speed" of round or specail trates

projectile: damage

projectile tip: special trates

for example lets say a player mods a 10mm round with high preasure powder, low preasure primer, and depleated urianium projectile with a hollow point design. would be a pretty good round... I think.

I doubt.

Clear that Bethesda will keep this the most casual possible game.

Just look at the topics in the forum. We even had people saying that different ammunition RUINED the game. True story.

Maybe not as complicated as what op said but I'd like to see the hollow points and armor piercing return from NV. Maybe give energy weapons some ammo types as well.

yeah I went overboard with that picture, best bet would be the ability to modify powder load and bullet type, like high preasure wodcutter, or low preasure hollow points things like that.... I really hope ammo mods come though having ammo mods for laser and plasma weapons would be cool, like a green diode laser which fires off green beems of energy that do less damage but results in more ammo, or a infer red cell which allows for stealthy lasers. (also napalm)

yeah pipe dreams one zero one, eh if it isn't in the base game some one will mod it in in a week. (as the game is confirmed to be running on a mofiried skyrim engine that means projectile types are supported)
