Ammo press in The Pitt

Post » Wed Sep 10, 2014 7:25 pm

How do I operate the ammo press in the Pitt? I followed the instructions of placing a sample of ammo in the bin(I placed ten 44 magnum rounds) and went back to the monitor and chose the processing option, but when I look in the bin the same ten rounds are there.

Can someone please treat me like a rookie and give step by step instuctions on making some 44 size rounds? Don't assume I know something, I am missing something somewhere.

Are you putting .44 Magnum rounds in the bin and expecting to get more .44 Magnum rounds from the machine? You have to put ammo of a different caliber (say, 5.56 mm), or scrap metal, into the bin and then select .44 Magnum from the terminal. The press will then convert that ammo or scrap metal into .44 Magnum rounds; the amount of .44 you get depends on the caliber of ammo you're using as raw material - the terminal should tell you how many rounds of each type you need (or pieces of scrap metal you need) per round of .44 produced.
