amount of weapons

Considering that Solitude is built on a Dwarven ruin and that the ruins would indeed be returning? Yeah, I think it's a safe bet to say Bethesda will hold true to the lore.

It's a large amount probably 1/2 to 2 times as many as their were in Oblivion. I personally though would rather see how the old weapons from the previous games look like Daedric.

I hope there are specialty armor pieces you can pick up from different towns and such.

Has a LOT of fighting about that here :

One of the DEV team pointed to the picture of Markarth as a Dwemer ruin.

While I'm sure "Thousands of Weapons and Armor" includes all the possible permutations of the same Armor (IE Dwarven Sword, Dwarven Jinksword, Dwarven Flamesword), that's still a ton. I'm enthusiastic about it, if anything, Oblivion lacked a lot of variety.

I'm also excited about the info of "Building Ecosystems" within the game. That was a "Small but important" feature in Morrowind, that I think got overlooked. It looks to be more developed here though, a lot more developed.

I think Bruce Nesmith is saying theres thousands of armor and weapon pieces...not TYPES. Therefore, theres nothing to be excited about. Theres always thousands upon thousands of weapons and armor, as much as the enemies that wear them, and the ones available in shops.
