Okay, let me prepare myself to tick off a lot of people...
I know that a modders work is their work. They created it, they own it.
What seems odd to me is when they pull the mods links down as a way to punish players.
It seems silly to punish everyone for one persons negative criticism.
Is that not what has happened in this instance? And is that not what has happened sooo many times in the past? (other modders)
I would understand this more if modders were profiting from there work. But in the end, it's free material that they
put on the internet of all places. Most everyone, (except the few of us on this page) has AmpolX's work.
And somehow I feel like I'm being punished for nothing...
I agree wholeheartedly. I recognize the staggering amount of work that goes into making a mod for any game - but the whole "I'm taking my
ball mods and going home!" attitude is really perplexing. I often wonder what the game industry would be like if actual game developers did this.
If it is such a big deal to share via PM, I'd settle for just the original name of the archive. Maybe it is sitting on my external HD somewhere and I can dig it up.
Also, here is the reason I want them so badly:

I saved that picture a few years ago from these forums, thinking "oh, the next time I will reinstall Oblivion I'll use these!" If only it were that simple....
